Steering Wheel Adjustment

To unlock: push release lever 1 down as far as it will go.

  • Adjust height 2 and distance 3 to the steering wheel.
Locking
  • Fold release lever 1 up as far as it will go.
  • Check that the steering column is locked by moving the steering wheel.
Adjusting the Steering Wheel Electrically

WARNING: Risk of accident due to adjusting vehicle settings while the vehicle is in motion. Adjust driver's seat, head restraint, steering wheel, or mirror before starting.

WARNING: Risk of entrapment for children. Never leave children unattended in the vehicle.

  • 1 To move up
  • 2 To move back
  • 3 To move down
  • 4 To move forward

Save the settings with the memory function.

Steering Wheel Heater
  • Requirements: Power supply/vehicle must be on.
  • Push the switch into position 1 or 2. If indicator lamp 3 lights up, heater is on.
  • Switching off vehicle turns heater off automatically.
Coupling Steering Wheel Heater with Seat Heating
  • Activate via multimedia system: Comfort > Seat > Heating Settings > Additional Steering Wheel Heating.
  • The heater is automatically activated/deactivated with the seat heating switch.
Easy Entry and Exit Feature

WARNING: Risk of accident when driving during adjustment. Always wait until the adjustment process is complete.

WARNING: Risk of entrapment during adjustment. Ensure no body parts are in the sweep of steering wheel or driver's seat.

  • If risk from steering wheel: move adjustment lever of steering wheel (process stops).
  • If risk from driver's seat: press seat adjustment switch (process stops).
  • Vehicles with memory function: press a memory position switch to stop adjustment process.

The steering wheel moves upwards and driver's seat moves forward/backward in specific conditions (driver door open/off, vehicle off, etc.). Last drive position is saved automatically when vehicle is switched off.

Memory Function

WARNING: Risk of accident if memory function is used while driving. Only use when stationary.

WARNING: Risk of entrapment when seat/steering wheel adjusts via memory function. Ensure no body parts in range; press preset button or seat switch to stop.

Memory function stores settings for up to three people:

  • Seat, backrest, head restraint, lumbar support
  • Seat heating distribution
  • Driver's steering wheel position and outside mirrors
  • Head-up Display
Operating the Memory Function
  • Set seat, steering wheel, Head-up Display, and outside mirrors.
  • Press V memory button and release, then press preset button 4, T, or U within 3 seconds.
  • Acoustic signal sounds; settings are stored.
  • Call up: press preset button 4, T, or U. Seat, mirrors, HUD, and steering wheel move to stored position automatically.
Stowage Areas

DANGER: Risk of exhaust gas poisoning. Always switch off engine before opening trunk. Never drive with trunk lid open.

WARNING: Risk of injury from unsecured items. Always secure luggage/loads against slipping, tipping, or throwing.

WARNING: Risk of injury due to objects stowed incorrectly. Always make sure objects do not protrude from storage spaces or parcel nets. Close lockable storage spaces before driving. Secure heavy or sharp objects in trunk.
