ECO Start/Stop Function
- Press button 1 to switch the ECO start/stop function off/on.
- A display appears in the driver display when switching the function off/on.
- % Continuous display appears while ECO start/stop is deactivated.
ECO Display Function
The ECO display evaluates your driving style on the driver display. It shows a ball that rolls forwards or backwards on a stylized road according to driving behavior.
- Ball lights green when driving efficiently within marked lines; orange when outside.
- Assesses coasting, consistent speed, and moderate acceleration.
- Overall driving assessment is shown with stars. Fill 5 stars for optimal driving; a glow appears in the background.
- % Accessible via Classic and Exclusive menus.
ECO Assist (Vehicles with 48V Electrical System)
- % Active only in drive programs ; and A.
- Analyzes expected route to optimize driving style, save fuel, and recuperate energy.
- Displays recommendations such as "foot off accelerator" and upcoming route events.
- Route events detected: roundabout, S-curve, sharp curve, T-intersection, downhill gradient, vehicle in front, speed limit.
- % Only "vehicle in front" is displayed in drive program A.
- % ECO Assist is an aid; driver remains responsible for safe distance, speed, and braking.
Situations Affecting ECO Assist
- Poor visibility, glare, dirt or damage on multifunction camera, obscured traffic signs, outdated navigation maps, ambiguous signs.
DYNAMIC SELECT Button
Function
Use DYNAMIC SELECT to switch between different drive programs. The selected program appears in the driver display.
- = Individual: Custom settings
- B Sport+: Sporty driving, emphasizes oversteer/understeer, suitable for dry roads and clear stretches only.
- C Sport: Sporty but stable, suitable for dry roads.
- A Comfort: Comfortable and economical, balanced traction and stability, recommended for all conditions.
- ; Eco: Particularly economical, balanced traction and stability, recommended for all conditions.

Selecting Drive Program
- Press DYNAMIC SELECT button 1 on the left or right; selected program appears in the driver display.
Configuring DYNAMIC SELECT (Multimedia System)
- Multimedia: 4 © 5 Settings → Vehicle → DYNAMIC SELECT
- Select Individual → choose and set category.
Reset Display On/Off
- Switch Request at Start on/off per user profile.
- % Function on: next start prompts to restore last drive program and ECO setting.
- % Function off: drive program set automatically; ECO start/stop activated automatically.
Displaying Vehicle and Engine Data
- Multimedia: 4 © 5 Info → Vehicle / Engine.
- % Displayed values are for orientation; actual engine output/torque may differ due to sea level, fuel quality, outside/engine temperature.
- Warning lamp stays on until engine reaches operating temperature.
