Tesla Cybertruck 2025-2026 Voice Commands

Voice Commands

Voice commands are designed to understand natural requests. The following is a non-exhaustive list of actions that you can perform with voice commands:

  • Adjust climate preferences
  • Tweak the windshield wiper speed and frequency
  • Control various aspects of your vehicle
  • Navigate to a location
  • Call a contact

Cameras

Your vehicle includes several cameras that monitor the surrounding area:

  1. A camera mounted on the tailgate.
  2. A camera mounted in each door pillar.
  3. Two cameras mounted on the windshield above the rear-view mirror.
  4. A camera mounted above each front wheel.
  5. A camera mounted above the grille on the front bumper.

Viewing Camera Feeds

The Camera app displays feeds from the side, rear, and front cameras.

  • Open the app launcher and select the Camera app.
  • Press the camera icon on the right side of the steering wheel.

Swipe up or down to switch between front and rear camera views. You can zoom in on the rear camera feed by pinching or tapping the display.

The camera app opens automatically when the vehicle is shifted into Reverse.

Rear-Facing Camera

The rear-facing camera is mounted on the tailgate and automatically displays when the vehicle is shifted into Reverse.

Guidelines appear on the screen to indicate the driving path based on the steering wheel position. These lines move as the steering wheel turns.

A vertical red bar appears on the display if the system detects an object or pedestrian crossing behind the vehicle.

You can configure the rear camera to always appear when the tonneau cover is closed by selecting: Controls > Display > Rear View Camera > Auto.

If the camera feed shows a black screen, use mirrors and visually check your surroundings. If the issue continues, restart the touchscreen or schedule service.

WARNING: Never rely solely on cameras to determine if the area around the vehicle is clear. Cameras may not detect certain objects or barriers and performance may be reduced if lenses are dirty or obstructed. Always visually check your surroundings.

Front-Facing Camera

The front-facing camera is located above the grille on the front fascia.

To view the front camera at any time:

  • Open the app launcher and select the Camera app.
  • Press the camera icon on the steering wheel.

Swipe up or down to switch between rear, front, and side camera views.

WARNING: Never rely solely on the camera to determine if the area around the vehicle is clear. Always inspect the surroundings with your own eyes and use mirrors when maneuvering.

Cabin Camera

The vehicle includes a cabin camera located above the rear-view mirror.

This camera helps detect driver inattentiveness and supports safety features such as Forward Collision Warning. It can also be accessed through the mobile app when Sentry Mode Live Camera is enabled.

Data Sharing

By default, images and video captured by the cameras remain within the vehicle and are not transmitted externally.

If data sharing is enabled and a safety-critical event occurs (such as a collision), short cabin camera video clips may be shared to help improve safety features and diagnostics.

The cabin camera does not perform facial recognition or identity verification, and data is not associated with the vehicle identification number.

To adjust data sharing preferences, go to: Controls > Software > Data Sharing > Allow Cabin Camera Analytics.
