Tesla Cybertruck 2025-2026 Seat Belts

Seat Belts

Extend the belts to wipe. Do not use any detergent or chemical cleaning agent. Allow the belts to dry naturally while extended, preferably away from direct sunlight.

Door Seals

Wipe door seals with a damp cloth to remove debris. Excessive debris can cause damage when contacting surrounding surfaces. Avoid using alcohol wipes or chemical products that can deteriorate the coating on the door seals.

Touchscreen – Front and Rear (If Equipped)

Use a soft, lint-free cloth designed for monitors and displays. Do not use cleaners (e.g., glass cleaner), alcohol-based gel products (e.g., hand sanitizer), wet wipes, or statically-charged dry cloths. To wipe the front touchscreen without activating buttons, enable Screen Clean Mode: Touch Controls > Display > Screen Clean Mode. To exit, press and hold HOLD TO EXIT.

Metal Surfaces

Polish, abrasive cleaners, alcohol-based gel products, and hard cloths can damage the finish on metal surfaces.

Cautions for Interior Cleaning

  • CAUTION: Solvents, alcohol-based gel products, bleach, citrus, naphtha, or silicone-based products on interior components can cause damage.
  • CAUTION: Statically-charged materials can damage the touchscreen.
  • WARNING: Damage on an airbag or seat belt should be reported to Tesla immediately.
  • WARNING: Do not allow water, cleaners, or fabric into a seat belt mechanism.
  • WARNING: Do not use solvents or soap on interior accent lights.
  • WARNING: Chemical cleaners can irritate eyes and skin. Follow manufacturer instructions.

Using a Car Cover

Use a genuine Tesla car cover when Cybertruck is not in use to preserve appearance. Purchase from the Tesla Shop. CAUTION: Only use a Tesla-approved cover while the vehicle is plugged in to allow adequate cooling of the Battery.

Floor Mats

(If equipped) Use genuine Tesla floor mats to protect carpeting. Clean regularly and ensure proper attachment. Replace mats if worn. WARNING: Ensure driver’s floor mat is secure and never place an additional mat on top.

Displaying Tire Pressures

Touch Controls > Service or view in the "Cards" area on the touchscreen. Displays recommended cold tire pressures. Select Bar or PSI via Controls > Display > Tire Pressure.

NOTE: Drive briefly if visualization does not immediately show pressures.

Maintaining Tire Pressures

Keep tires at recommended pressures even if different from tire sidewall. Adjust for load, tire type, and GVWR. Cold tire pressures are recommended.

Tires (Front and Rear)

Tire Type Normal Load* GVWR**
20" All Season 50 psi 50 psi
20" All Terrain 50 psi 65 psi
18" All Season 50 psi 50 psi

*Normal Load assumes fully loaded front trunk and up to five occupants.

**GVWR load capacity not exceeding vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

CAUTION: Refer to tire pressures published for towing, not the label on the tire.

Checking and Adjusting Tire Pressures

Use an accurate gauge when tires are cold. Inflate to recommended pressures. Driving warms tires, affecting readings. Do not release air from hot tires to match cold pressure. Follow steps:

  1. Refer to the Tire and Loading Information label on driver’s center door pillar.
  2. Remove valve cap.
  3. Press gauge on valve to measure pressure.
  4. Add or remove air as needed.
  5. Recheck pressure with gauge.
  6. Repeat until correct.
  7. Reinstall valve cap.
  8. Check other tires for proper pressure.

Tire Pressure Monitoring

Cybertruck has TPMS. Check tire pressures monthly when cold. The low tire pressure telltale illuminates when significantly under-inflated. Driving on under-inflated tires can cause overheating, reduced range, and tire damage. TPMS is not a substitute for regular maintenance.

TPMS Malfunction

The TPMS malfunction indicator flashes for 1 minute then remains on if system is not functioning properly. Causes include replacement/alternate tires. After tire/wheel replacement, verify TPMS functionality.

Replacing a Tire Sensor

If the warning displays frequently, schedule service to replace the tire sensor with a Tesla OEM sensor.

Tire Wear

Inspect tread and sidewalls for bulges, cuts, foreign objects, or wear. Replace tires before wear indicators are visible. Tires <4/32” tread may hydroplane; <5/32” perform poorly in snow/slush. Place tires with most tread on rear.

Tire Rotation, Balance, and Wheel Alignment

Rotate tires every 6,250 miles (10,000 km) or if tread difference ≥2/32 in. Wheel balancing ensures even wear; align wheels if uneven wear or vehicle pulls left/right. After rotation/replacement, update tire configuration:

Controls > Service > Wheel & Tire > Tires → Choose Service Type and Tire Season → Reset. This resets learned tire settings and tread wear alerts until next 6,250 miles (10,000 km).
