NOTE: Depending on market region, configuration, and vehicle manufacture date, your vehicle may not be equipped with a rear touchscreen or interior outlets.
In addition to storage compartments and cup holders, the interior supports several electronic features including an RFID transmitter that reads key cards, USB-C ports, wireless phone chargers, a power outlet in the center console, and a power outlet below the rear touchscreen (if equipped).
Cybertruck has four USB ports.
There are three USB-C ports located in the center console, each capable of providing up to 65W of power:
NOTE: Use USB 3.0 compliant cables to connect devices to USB-C ports. Non-compliant cables may result in slower charging, connection issues, or degraded performance.
NOTE: If all three USB-C ports are used simultaneously, the power delivered to each port may be reduced.
A USB-A port is also located in the glovebox and includes a USB-A flash drive. This port can be used to:
NOTE: Do not connect multiple devices using a USB hub. This may prevent devices from charging or being recognized by the media player, Sentry Mode, or Dashcam.
Wireless phone chargers are integrated into the front console and provide up to 15W of power for Qi-enabled smartphones.
To charge a phone, place it directly on one of the two charging pads. The phone must be in direct contact with the charging surface. The device may become warm while charging, which is a normal effect of inductive charging.
NOTE: The wireless phone chargers are located in the same area as the key card readers.
Your phone charges whenever the vehicle is powered on and the touchscreen is active. Charging typically stops when you leave the vehicle unless features such as Sentry Mode remain enabled.
To disable the wireless charging pads, go to: Controls > Charging > Wireless Phone Charging Pads or Controls > Outlets & Mods > Wireless Phone Charging Pads.
NOTE: If the phone case is too thick, contains metal, or if objects such as cards or coins are placed between the phone and the charger, wireless charging may not function properly. Try removing the phone case if necessary.
NOTE: Depending on market region, configuration, and vehicle manufacture date, your vehicle may not be equipped with interior outlets.
The center console includes two NEMA 5-20 120V power outlets capable of providing up to 20A combined. To enable power to the outlets, go to: Controls > Outlets & Mods.
You can also enable Enable Cabin Outlets on Entry so the outlets automatically power on when entering the vehicle.
If an outlet is not providing power as expected, refer to troubleshooting guidance for AC outlets.
NOTE: The two outlets share a combined maximum draw of 20A. If multiple devices draw power simultaneously, power to each device may be reduced or temporarily interrupted.
NOTE: Power to AC outlets may be disabled in very low ambient temperatures.
NOTE: AC outlet power is disabled when an AC charging cable is connected to the vehicle, even if the vehicle is not actively charging. Power remains available during DC fast charging.
NOTE: Two additional 120V outlets and a 240V outlet are also located in the cargo bed.
The front power outlet is located inside the front compartment of the center console.
The rear power outlet is located below the rear touchscreen.
Accessory power is available when the vehicle is in use or when the system detects that a user is present. A user is considered present when someone is sitting in the driver's seat, interacting with the touchscreen, or when features such as Camp Mode, CyberTent Mode, or Keep Outlets On are enabled.
Leaving an accessory plugged in does not drain the low-voltage battery.
If you want to continue powering devices without a user present, enable Keep Accessory Power On by selecting: Controls > Charging > Keep Accessory Power On.
NOTE: This feature is not available when the vehicle is in Low Power Mode.
