Tesla Cybertruck 2025-2026 Traffic Lights

Traffic Lights

When driving with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control engaged, and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control enabled, Cybertruck responds to intersections controlled by traffic lights as follows:

Type of Traffic Light Vehicle Intended Response
Solid green or traffic light off Cybertruck slows down. If a vehicle is ahead and continues through the intersection, the touchscreen shows a green stop line and Cybertruck continues if hands are detected on the steering wheel. If no vehicle is ahead, a red stop line is displayed. Press the accelerator briefly to continue; otherwise, Cybertruck stops.
Red light Cybertruck stops at the red stop line. Press the accelerator briefly to proceed once it is safe.
Green light after confirmation If the traffic light changes after confirming acceleration, Cybertruck may stop to ensure safe stopping distance.

WARNING: You can take over driving at any time by manually braking to cancel Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. Always approach attentively and be ready to press the brake pedal if necessary.

Stop Signs and Road Markings

When driving with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control enabled, Cybertruck responds to stop signs, stop lines, and road markings as follows:

Type of Intersection Vehicle Intended Response
No Traffic Control / Arm of T-junction Cybertruck assumes right of way and continues straight without slowing or stopping.
End of T-junction Cybertruck slows and stops at the red stop line. Take over steering and acceleration to proceed. Some T-junctions may not be detected; drive attentively.
Stop Sign Cybertruck stops at the red stop line. Press the accelerator briefly to proceed. Confirmation before stopping is ignored.
Roundabouts and Crosswalks Cybertruck slows and may stop. Take over steering and press the accelerator briefly to continue. Be attentive to pedestrians and cyclists.

Limitations

Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control may not operate as expected under the following conditions:

  • Railroad crossings, toll booths, keep-out zones, crosswalks, yield signs, temporary traffic lights.
  • Consecutive intersections close together.
  • Poor visibility (rain, snow, fog) or bright sunlight interfering with cameras.
  • Obstructed, damaged, or uncalibrated cameras.
  • Driving on hills or sharp curves limiting camera view.
  • Obstructions by other vehicles.

WARNING: Limitations above are not exhaustive. Always drive attentively and be prepared to take immediate action. Using this feature does not replace responsible driving.

Autopark

Autopark helps maneuver Cybertruck into parallel and perpendicular parking spaces using sensor data.

WARNING: Familiarize yourself with Autopark limitations. Do not use with ball hitch, bike rack, trailer, or overhanging cargo.

Autopark is disabled when:

  • A bicycle is detected.
  • The tailgate is down.
  • Cybertruck is in Trailer Mode.
  • Cybertruck is in Off-Road Mode.
