MMI: Home screen → MESSAGES → (©) → e-mail (phone 1)/e-mail (phone 2)*
If necessary, user-defined folders will be copied to your mobile device.
Press on a text message. Depending on the country, the following options may be available:
To switch between messages, press < or >. Press More. Additional options depending on your mobile device and mailbox:

When switched on, an envelope icon in the MMI status bar indicates a new text message.

| Pairing the mobile device to the MMI failed. | Ensure requirements for connecting a mobile phone are met. Check PIN entry. Repeat pairing if necessary. |
| After pairing, not all contacts or no contacts loaded. | Avoid special characters, avoid contact groups, check prompts on mobile device. |
| Certain telephone functions are grayed out or unavailable. | Depends on mobile device provider and model. Check if functions are switched off or limited. |
| MESSAGES menu not available. | Ensure mobile device can display messages and that option is enabled. |
| Wireless cell phone charging not working or interrupted. | Ensure wireless charging in Audi phone box is on, phone is Qi-capable, correctly positioned, no objects in between. |
