Audi drive select makes it possible to experience different types of vehicle characteristics in one vehicle. With different driving modes, the driver can switch the setting, for example from sporty to comfortable. This allows you to adjust the settings to your personal preferences. It is possible to combine settings such as a sporty drivetrain with comfortable steering.

The drive select button is located above the selector lever in the center console.

The available settings depend on the equipment installed in your vehicle.
The drive system reacts more quickly or in a more balanced manner to accelerator pedal movements. On vehicles with automatic transmissions, shift points occur at higher or lower engine speeds. With the sport differential, drive power distribution at the rear axle can be more sporty or moderate.
The power steering adapts to the selected mode. Light steering is suitable for long highway drives or smooth cornering.
The suspension adjusts between sportier firmness and comfort to compensate for uneven road surfaces.
The engine sound adapts from subtle to sporty. In automatic mode, the sound depends on the selected driving program.

To reduce the risk of injury, ensure no one is pinched when the vehicle level changes, such as during underbody cleaning or wheel housing maintenance.
Always ensure sufficient clearance above and below the vehicle, especially when entering areas with height restrictions such as underground garages. Driving over curbs or steep ramps may damage the vehicle.
