Your vehicle is covered by various warranties:
Detailed information is available in your Warranty & Maintenance Booklet and the California Emissions Booklet*.
Service information is made available as soon as a model is introduced and can be ordered from the Audi Literature Shop: http://literature.audiusa.com
Government regulations in the United States and Canada require vehicles to comply with emissions regulations and safety standards. Vehicles produced for the U.S. and Canadian markets may differ from vehicles produced for other countries.
If you plan to use your vehicle outside the U.S. or Canada, note that:
Note: Audi is not liable for damage resulting from these country-specific differences.
Observe the safety precautions: General information (p. 222) and Raising the vehicle (p. 268).
Due to the increasing complexity of vehicle technology and safety/environmental standards, only a very limited amount of repairs and modifications can be performed by the owner. Proof of maintenance work may be required for warranty claims.
We recommend servicing your vehicle at an authorized Audi dealer or Service Facility using Audi Genuine Parts and Accessories to ensure optimal performance, functionality, and safety.
Your vehicle is designed to minimize maintenance requirements. Regular maintenance ensures safe, economical, and reliable operation. Refer to the Warranty & Maintenance Booklet for detailed information.
Extreme operating conditions, such as very low temperatures or dusty environments, may require maintenance between specified intervals.
Maintenance and repair work typically requires special tools and equipment available to trained technicians. Improper work can impair vehicle operation, reliability, and may void warranties.
Interfering with electronic components, software, wiring, or data transfer can cause malfunctions and affect systems not directly involved, reducing operational safety and increasing component wear.
Some convenience functions (e.g., turn signals, door opening, displays) can be reprogrammed with special workshop equipment. Reprogrammed functions may no longer match the Owner's Manual descriptions. Audi recommends having authorized personnel perform and verify reprogramming.
Warning: Improper maintenance, repairs, or modifications (including adding equipment) can cause serious injuries or accidents.
Warning: The motor compartment is potentially dangerous and can cause serious personal injury. Always exercise extreme caution, follow safety practices, and use common sense.
