To lock: Press the lock switch. When the lock switch is in the lock position, the passengers’ windows cannot be opened or closed.
To unlock: Press the lock switch again.
Each passenger window can be controlled by the power window switch located on the door.
To open: Press the switch down lightly and hold it. The window will open as long as the switch is held.
NOTE: Holding the AUTO switch down after the window is fully open may trigger the circuit breaker. Wait a few seconds to reset.
Some models have a one-touch auto down feature: press until it clicks and release. To stop halfway, pull the switch up lightly.
To close: Pull the switch up lightly and hold it. Similar AUTO function warnings apply.
For one-touch auto up/down reactivation after battery disconnection, refer to “Initialization of power window†F2-38.
To open: Press down and hold the switch until the window reaches desired position.
To close: Pull up and hold the switch until the window reaches desired position.
If the driver’s lock switch is in lock position, passenger switches cannot operate.
If battery disconnection occurs, one-touch auto up/down and anti-entrapment functions are deactivated. Initialize as follows:
The rear gate can be locked/unlocked via:
To open: Unlock, press and hold rear gate opener button, lift gate slowly.
NOTE: If battery is discharged or system malfunctions, unlock using manual rear gate lock release lever.
To close: Lower rear gate slowly and push firmly until latch engages.
NOTE: Repeated button presses may be ignored. Temporary stopping is not possible between fully closed and ~12 in (30 cm) open. If vehicle moves during operation, buzzer sounds and gate closes automatically. Immediate re-opening may require manual operation.
To open: Press and hold power rear gate button when gate is closed. Electronic chirp sounds twice and hazard flashers flash twice. Gate opens automatically.
To stop midway: Briefly press the button again.
