Multi Function Display
Components
- Outside temperature indicator

Basic Operation
Control Switch:
- Up (select)
- ENTER (push)
- Down (select)
Use the up/down buttons to switch screens and selection items. Press ENTER to select and set items.
Welcome Screen
Appears when the driver’s door is closed after unlocking. Disappears if ignition is turned ON or doors are opened. Can be set ON/OFF via “Bypass screen setting†F3-74.
Ending Screen
Displayed when ignition is turned to LOCK/OFF:
- If “Eco Summary†is Off: “Goodbye†screen
- If “Eco Summary†is On: “Fuel consumption results screenâ€
Shows average fuel consumption for entire trip and for interval displayed on trip meter.
Self-Check Screen
Performed automatically when ignition is ON:
- Type A Combination Meter: Engine oil, Oil filter, Tires, Inspection & maintenance
- Type B Combination Meter: Windshield washer fluid, Brake fluid, Engine oil, Oil filter, Tires, Inspection & maintenance
Checked item icons turn green; warnings/maintenance notifications turn yellow. Can be set ON/OFF via “On/Off setting†F3-77. Update maintenance items after performing service.
Interruption Screen
Displays reminder, vehicle, or warning information with a beep. Returns to original screen automatically. Information reminders marked with “ †can be recalled using the button.

Displays outside temperature (−40°F to 122°F / −40°C to 50°C), clock, and other info while ignition is ACC/ON.
Icy Road Surface Warning
Displays when temperature ≤ 38°F (3°C). Only a guide—check road conditions. Does not reappear until ignition toggled to ACC/ON after LOCK/OFF.
Top Display
- Average fuel consumption per trip meter
- Current fuel consumption
- Driving range on remaining fuel
Settings detailed in “Top display setting†F3-68. Driving range is based on last 30 km (19 miles) average consumption.
Clock
12-hour or 24-hour display. Battery disconnect resets clock—reset after reconnection (see F3-68).
Fuel Consumption Screen
- Average fuel consumption per trip meter
- Current fuel consumption
- Driving range on remaining fuel
Location customizable (see “Fuel consumption screen setting†F3-69).
ECO Gauge Screen
- Average fuel consumption per trip meter
- ECO gauge pointer: difference between current and average fuel consumption (green = better efficiency)
ECO History Screen
- Average fuel consumption per unit time (bar graph)
- Average fuel consumption per trip meter (red line)
Green bars = good economy, Yellow = poor. Adjustable time range: 30 min (1 min/bar), 60 min (2 min/bar), 120 min (4 min/bar). See F3-70.
Vehicle Activation Status Screen
- Vehicle stopped: Steering axle
- Regular driving: Power train (blue)
- VDC activation: tires yellow, shows activation history
- X-mode (if equipped): Hill descent, steering angle, ABS, VDC, X-mode status
Wheels illuminated in blue when driving; yellow if ABS or VDC activated. Operation length and activation count shown in bar indicator.
EyeSight Screen (if equipped)
- Current vehicle speed
- Set vehicle speed
- Preceding vehicle
- Your vehicle
“Boost Pressure†& Accelerator Opening Ratio Screen (Turbo Models)
- Boost pressure (digital)
- Boost pressure (analog)
- Accelerator opening ratio (digital)
- Accelerator opening ratio (analog)
- Peak boost pressure (digital)
- Peak boost pressure (analog)
Peak values stored if ignition in ACC/LOCK/OFF. Reset by button and confirmation.
Triple Meter Screen
Displays up to three selectable items:
- Average vehicle speed (trip meter reset)
- Lifetime fuel consumption
- Engine oil temperature
- Accelerator opening ratio
- Boost pressure (turbo only)
- Journey time (since ignition ON)
- Journey distance (since ignition ON)
- Average fuel consumption (since ignition ON)
Guidance Screen
Displayed via long press of button. Selection contents customizable (see F3-56).
Clock/Calendar Screen
Options: Clock (Type A), Clock (Type B), Calendar. Also shows outside temperature and average fuel consumption. Can be hidden (see F3-73).
