Subaru FORESTER 5th Generation 2019-2024 Bottle Holders
Bottle Holders
CAUTION:
- Do not pick up a bottle from the holder or place a bottle while driving, as this may distract you and lead to an accident.
- Ensure beverages are capped; otherwise, they may spill and cause burns if hot.
Bottle holders on each door trim can hold beverage bottles and other items.
Accessory Power Outlets
Power outlets are located below the climate control, in the center console, and in the cargo area. Electrical power (12V DC) is available when the ignition is in ACC or ON.
Maximum power rating per outlet is 120W. Do not exceed wattage, and total power for multiple outlets must not exceed 120W.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a cigarette lighter in accessory power outlets.
- Do not insert foreign objects, especially metal, into the outlets; always use the cap when not in use.
- Only use 12V DC appliances within rated wattage.
- Avoid double adapters or multiple devices to prevent short circuit.
- Ensure plugs fit properly; loose or tight plugs can cause poor contact or stuck plugs.
- Prolonged use of electric appliances while the engine is off may discharge the battery.
- Ensure cords and plugs do not interfere with driving controls.
NOTE: The center console lid has an opening to allow use of the power outlet when closed. Pass the cord through this opening.
Use with Cigarette Lighter (if equipped)
Purchase a SUBARU cigarette lighter plug from a dealer. The lighter operates only when ignition is ON or ACC. Push knob to use; it will spring up automatically when ready.
WARNING: Never grasp the lighter by the end with the heating element to avoid burns.
CAUTION:
- Do not hold lighter pushed in to prevent overheating.
- Use only genuine SUBARU cigarette lighter plugs; non-genuine plugs may cause short circuit, overheating, or fire.
- Do not use a socket previously used for plug-in accessories for a cigarette lighter plug to prevent sticking and overheating.
Ashtray (if equipped)
CAUTION:
- Do not use ashtrays as waste receptacles or leave lighted cigarettes inside.
- Always extinguish matches and cigarettes before putting them into the ashtray and close it securely.
- Do not put flammable materials in the ashtray.
- Do not leave excessive cigarette butts in the ashtray.
NOTE: Ash and tobacco particles accumulate around ashtray hinges; clean using a narrow tool like a toothbrush.
