SmartLink and Å KODA Connect

Apple CarPlay

• Tap: Return to the Apple CarPlay main menu
• Hold: Switch on voice control (Siri)

MirrorLink

It is not possible to operate the application while driving.

• Return to the SmartLink main menu
• Display last running application on connected mobile devices

Connection Conditions

General

• Mobile device must support SmartLink connection types: Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink
• Device and connection type must be supported in the respective market
• Some devices require to be unlocked

Android Auto

• Device must support Android Auto
• Android Auto app must be installed
• Some apps require mobile data connection

Apple CarPlay

• Device must support Apple CarPlay
• Siri voice control must be on
• Mobile data must be on

MirrorLink

• Device must support MirrorLink
• MirrorLink app must be installed
• Some apps require mobile data connection

Operation

MirrorLink operation:

• Press right rotary control to display control surfaces
• Display control surfaces at bottom or top
• Return to MirrorLink main menu

Restrictions

Operation of some SmartLink applications is restricted while driving.

• Android Auto: external device cannot be audio source, disconnects Bluetooth®, route guidance may switch between systems
• Apple CarPlay: external device cannot be audio source, disconnects Bluetooth®, route guidance may switch between systems
• MirrorLink: external device cannot be audio source, device must be paired via Bluetooth® for telephone use

Connection / Disconnection via USB

Apple CarPlay

• Turn on Infotainment and mobile device
• Connect to front USB input using cable
• Select Apple CarPlay connection
• Disconnect: Tap "Å KODA" functional area → Tap icon

Android Auto

• Turn on Infotainment and mobile device
• Connect to front USB input using cable
• Select Android Auto connection
• Disconnect: Main menu → "Return to Å KODA" → Tap icon

MirrorLink

• Turn on Infotainment and mobile device
• Connect to front USB input using cable
• Select MirrorLink connection
• Disconnect: MirrorLink main menu → Tap icons

Switch Devices / Connection Types

• Tap icon and select desired device or connection type

Å KODA Connect Online Services

Connects vehicle to the online world. Availability depends on mobile network, country, and Infotainment type.

Services are not included with vehicle; can be ordered via Å KODA Connect website or Portal.

Information Call

• Used for issues with online services or Å KODA products
• Functional condition indicates active online services
• Press the button to activate

Breakdown Call

• Used in case of vehicle breakdown
• Functional condition indicates active online services
• Press the button to activate

Å KODA Connect Application

• Enables remote access, registration, activation, and configuration of online services
• Download via link

Settings: Registration & Activation

• User registration and activation via Portal or app
• Requires access to e-mails
• Stepwise: Switch on ignition & Infotainment → Tap Registration → Enter & confirm PIN → Wait for completion → Confirm messages

Delete User

• Switch on ignition & Infotainment → Tap Registration → Tap Delete user → Confirm
• Deleting user on Portal also removes from Infotainment

Change User

• Switch on ignition & Infotainment → Tap Registration → Tap New owner → Enter & confirm new PIN → Confirm change if necessary

Management of Online Services

• View status and license validity, switch services on/off
• Tap Privacy settings → Select service → Tap checkbox to switch on/off

Connection Status

• A: Online services available; data connection symbol displayed
• B: Online services not available
• C: Localisation restricted/disabled
• D: Localisation enabled

Localisation Services

• Required for some services (e.g., last parking position, area or speed notifications)
• Symbol displayed in Infotainment status line when active

Private Mode

• Deactivates sending vehicle info and personal data for online services
• Emergency call remains functional; information & breakdown calls are limited

Care Connect

• Deactivates sending vehicle info and personal data for Care Connect services
• Emergency call remains functional; information & breakdown calls limited

Switch Online Services On/Off

• Only Å KODA service partner can switch online services
• Turning off disables all Å KODA Connect services including emergency calls
• Service partner applies sticker in vehicle when services are off

Navigation

Navigation Announcements

• Graphic recommendations and voice announcements generated by Infotainment
• Tap icons to repeat or turn off announcements
• Settings: Navigation main menu → Navigation announcements

Navigation Overviews

• Display main menu by tapping icons
• Map overview: Vehicle position, Route, Functional surfaces, POIs, Speed info
• Route guidance menus: Show route plan, traffic obstruction, search/enter destination, end guidance
• Save current position, show saved routes, list stored/last destinations, route to home

Map Display Options

• Switch between digital instrument cluster and Infotainment screen
• Symbols: destination, intermediate, home, favourites
• Day/night modes, split screen, POI categories
• Manual map scale adjustment: pinch or rotate regulator
• Automatic scale adjusts depending on road type
