Connection Set-Up
Connect a mobile device to Infotainment
- Turn on the ignition
- Turn on Bluetooth® on the mobile device and Infotainment
- Enable Bluetooth visibility on Infotainment
- Find available devices on the mobile device
- Select Infotainment unit and confirm PIN if needed
Connect Infotainment to a Non-Paired Mobile Device
- Turn on ignition and Bluetooth® on both devices
- Tap "Bluetooth Search for devices" on Infotainment
- Select device from list and confirm PIN
- If two devices are connected, select the device to replace
Connect Infotainment to an Already Paired Device
- Connection occurs automatically after ignition on
- Manual connection: Tap "Bluetooth Paired devices", select device and profile, confirm PIN
- If two devices are connected, select the device to replace
Disconnect / Delete a Mobile Device
- Tap "Bluetooth Paired devices", then tap the device profile to disconnect
- To delete a device: tap and confirm deletion; to delete all, tap "Delete all" and confirm
Telephone
Main Menu Overview
- Display main menu by tapping icons
- A: Name of connected telephone – tap to show list of previously connected phones
- B: Preset buttons for preferred contacts
- C: Choice of storage group for preferred contacts
- D: Name of telephone service provider (roaming symbol indicates active roaming)
- E: Connection type symbol
- F: Status symbol of the phone
Change Main Phone / Enter Number
- Enter telephone number in Telephone main menu using numeric keypad
- Digits can search contacts (e.g., 32 shows DA, FA, EB)
Contact List
- Imported from connected main telephone
- Display contact list: tap icon; find details: tap "Find"
- Establish connection by tapping contact; select number if multiple
Voice Mailbox
- Access voice mailbox number via Telephone main menu
Telephone Conversation Functions
- End connection / reject incoming call / end call
- Answer incoming call / return to held call
- Switch ringer off/on
- Hold a call
- Switch microphone off/on
- Show caller details
- Set up conference call
Call Tone Switching
- Switch from speakers to telephone: tap hands-free icon
- Switch from telephone to speakers: tap icon
Conference Call
- Minimum 3, maximum 6 participants
- Make next call or accept new call during ongoing conference
- Start conference: tap functional area
- During conference: hold temporarily, return to call, switch microphone, end call, show details
- Details allow managing participants, end conversation with participant, communicate outside conference, send text messages
Text Messages
- Create message: Telephone main menu → New text message → write and confirm
- Edit message by tapping text area
- Select or add recipients, then confirm
- Display received messages: Telephone main menu → E-mails → select message
- Read using Infotainment voice; menu options: reply via template, delete, recognize phone numbers, forward, reply to sender
Infotainment Telephone Settings
- Manage preset buttons for preferred contacts: press & hold, select contact and number
- Delete one or all presets via Telephone User profile → Manage favourites
- Import contacts after first connection (up to 2000 contacts with pictures, max 5 numbers each)
- Update contacts automatically on reconnection; manual update: User profile → Import contacts
- Show pictures on contacts: User profile → Show pictures for contacts
- Sort contacts: User profile → Sort by → select type
