Window - with electrical operation
What you should be mindful of
Force limiter
To reduce the risk of pinch injuries when closing the windows, the vehicle has a force limiter.
- If an obstacle is detected, the closing process stops and the window retracts several centimetres.
- If the obstacle still prevents closing within 10 seconds, the closing process is interrupted again and the window retracts further.
- If the window is closed again within 10 seconds, the closing process only stops but does not automatically reverse.
- If another attempt is made within the next 10 seconds, the force limiter will temporarily deactivate and the window closes with full force.
- After 10 seconds the force limiter activates again.
CAUTION
Close the windows carefully even though they are equipped with a force limiter.
