Second Seat Row Adjustment

Adjust the second seat row in the longitudinal direction.

Display in Rear Centre Console

  • A: Set the temperature
  • B: Display

Tablet Holder

Settings:

  • Tilt and turn
  • Adjust size: Pull out the locking tab and move the upper part of the holder to the desired position. Set the minimum size to avoid noise while driving.

Remove and Insert:

  • Fasten behind the headrests: Place the open adapter on the front guide rods of the headrest and clip in carefully. Clip in the holder in the adapter.
  • Removal: Press the safety button and unfold the holder. Press on the adapter and remove it.

Technical Data: Tablet height: min. 12.2 cm, max. 19.5 cm. Maximum load: 0.75 kg.

12-Volt Power Socket

Operating Conditions:

  • Use only approved electrical accessories with total power ≤ 120 W
  • Switch off consumers before ignition on/off or engine start

230-Volt Power Socket

  • Do not connect lights with fluorescent lamps
  • Status Display:
    • Green lit: socket on
    • Blinking green: socket active ~10 minutes after engine off
  • Child safety lock: plug insertion unlocks fuse and switches on socket
  • Operating: works when engine running; also in STOP mode with START-STOP system
  • Troubleshooting: Flashing red indicator may indicate excessive current, low battery, or overheating. Disconnect consumer and reconnect if needed.

Roof Rack and Hitch

Roof Rack: Max load including roof rack: 75 kg.

Swivelling Tow Bar

Warnings and Cautions:

  • Do not manipulate switch while trailer or accessory coupled – risk of accident
  • Handle trailer coupling carefully; avoid standing behind bumper when swinging out
  • Swing tow bar under bumper when not in use to avoid damage
Tow Bar Operation
  • Swing Out: Pull switch, indicator illuminates, press until it clicks. Check latch.
  • Swing In: Pull switch, indicator illuminates, swing under bumper until click. Check latch.
Coupling / Uncoupling Trailer or Accessories
  • Coupling: Swing out tow bar, place trailer drawbar on ball head, plug electrical trailer plug into socket A, hook tear-off rope onto safety eye B
  • Uncoupling: Reverse steps

Trailer Power Supply

  • Total trailer power consumption ≤ 350 W to avoid vehicle electronics damage
  • Troubleshooting: If indicator does not light or tow bar fails to lock, do not use trailer and seek specialist

Technical Data

  • Maximum vertical load depends on engine type and vehicle equipment (see technical documentation)
  • Support load for mounted accessories: Max length 70 cm from towing ball, total weight ≤ max vertical load. Center of gravity ≤ 30 cm from ball; reduces if >30 cm
  • Warning: Do not exceed maximum vertical load or permissible trailer load

Maintaining and Cleaning

Service Events: Follow service intervals. Specialist garage informs of service type and scope. Proof stored in Digital Service Plan; can be printed. Do not reset service info manually for vehicles with variable service interval.

Component Protection

Electronic components (e.g., instrument cluster) have functional limitation when installed in non-legitimate vehicle or outside vehicle (e.g., after theft).

Interior Cleaning and Care

  • Use appropriate cleaning agents; avoid aggressive chemicals
  • Leather, faux leather, Alcantara® suede: remove impurities immediately, avoid solvents, do not wet seams, minor folds/discoloration normal
  • Fabric covers: avoid prolonged sun exposure, beware of dark denim discolouration, avoid sharp zippers/rivets damaging upholstery
  • Plastic parts: do not attach fragrances/air fresheners to dash
  • Windows: avoid stickers on heating filaments/glass antenna
  • Electrically heated seats: do not clean with water, do not dry by turning on heating
