Ringer
Some phones do not allow the use of the telephone ringtone; the Infotainment ringtone is used instead.
- To set the Infotainment ringer, go to Telephone → User profile → Select ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
Simultaneous calls
Depending on the connected telephone and country:
- Answer the next incoming call and hold the previous call
- To switch on/off simultaneous calls: Telephone → Simultaneous calls
SmartLink
Functionality
SmartLink allows display and operation of certified applications from a connected mobile device on the Infotainment screen. Supported connection types:
- Android Auto
- Apple CarPlay
- MirrorLink
SmartLink Main Menu
- A - Previously connected device
- B - Currently connected device
- Display information about SmartLink
- Separation of active connection
- Settings for SmartLink menu
Android Auto
- Navigation applications
- Telephone applications
- Music applications
- Turn on Google Voice control
Apple CarPlay
- List of available applications
- Tap: Return to main menu
- Hold: Switch on Siri voice control
MirrorLink
- Not operable while driving
- Return to SmartLink main menu
- List last running applications
Connection Conditions
General conditions:
- Mobile device must support Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, or MirrorLink
- Supported in respective market; device may need to be unlocked
Android Auto
- Device must have Android Auto support and app installed
- Some apps require mobile data connection
Apple CarPlay
- Device must support Apple CarPlay
- Siri voice control enabled
- Data connection switched on
MirrorLink
- Device must support MirrorLink
- MirrorLink app installed
- Some apps require mobile data connection
Operation
- Move functional areas of MirrorLink to screen edges
- Return to MirrorLink main menu
Restrictions while driving
For safety reasons, some SmartLink operations are restricted:
- Android Auto: Device cannot be used as audio source; disconnects all Bluetooth® devices
- Apple CarPlay: Device cannot be used as audio source; disconnects all Bluetooth® devices
- MirrorLink: Device cannot be used as audio source; disconnects all Bluetooth® devices
Settings and Connections
- Apple CarPlay Connection: Turn on Infotainment & device, connect via USB, choose Apple CarPlay
- Apple CarPlay Disconnection: Main menu → “ŠKODA†→ tap icon
- Android Auto Connection: Turn on Infotainment & device, connect via USB, choose Android Auto
- Android Auto Disconnection: Main menu → “Return to ŠKODA†→ tap icon
- MirrorLink Connection: Turn on Infotainment & device, connect via USB, choose MirrorLink
- MirrorLink Disconnection: Main menu → tap icons
- Switch to another device/connection type: Tap icon → select device/type
Å KODA Connect Online Services
Functionality
Å KODA Connect allows connecting the vehicle to online services, extending Infotainment functions. Availability depends on mobile network coverage, vehicle trim, Infotainment type, and country.

Information and Breakdown Calls
- Information call: Press button to get info on online services or products
- Breakdown call: Press button for roadside assistance
Å KODA Connect App
- Enables remote access to vehicle
- User registration and activation of online services
Registration and Activation
- Switch on ignition and Infotainment
- Tap ŠKODA Connect (online services) → Registration
- Enter and confirm registration PIN from Portal or App
- Wait for completion message and confirm any screen prompts
User Management
- Delete user: Registration → Delete user → confirm
- Change user: Registration → New owner → enter PIN → confirm
Managing Online Services
- Privacy settings → manage services
- Display service status and details, toggle on/off
Connection Status
- A - Services available, data connection icon may show
- B - Services not available
- C - Localisation services restricted/disabled
- D - Localisation services enabled
Localisation Services
Needed for full functionality of some services (e.g., last parking position, area notifications, speed notifications). Active localisation displays a status symbol.
Private Mode
Deactivates sending of vehicle info and personal data required for online services.
- Enable/disable: ŠKODA Connect (online services) → Services Management → Private mode
