List and Restrictions

Restriction

For safety reasons, some Infotainment functions cannot be operated while driving. The system indicates this with an on-screen message.

Basic Settings

Basic Infotainment functions can be set in the menu:

• Time and date
• Language
• Units
• Restore factory settings

Sound Settings

Sound settings in the Infotainment menu include:

• Equalizer settings
• Volume ratio adjustment
• Volume of individual Infotainment functions
• Voice command volume
• Maximum volume at system start
• Speed-dependent volume
• Mute with parking aid on

Advanced options (depending on equipment):

• Space optimisation
• Audio profiles by genre
• Subwoofer volume adjustment

Configuration Wizard

The configuration wizard helps set certain functions automatically:

• Displayed automatically if menu items are unset or a new user account is selected
• To switch off automatic display: tap Don't show again
• To manually display: tap Configuration wizard

Setting the MENU

Graphic display type can be set:

• Grid display
• Horizontal display

Safely Disconnect USB Device

Risk of data loss!

• Tap Remove safely
• Select the device
• Disconnect/remove the device

Electronic Voice Amplification

Enhances driver and passenger voice to rear speakers:

• Adjust volume via Electronic voice enhancement

Troubleshooting

Infotainment not responding:

• Press for >10 s to restart
• Wait for system restart

System Update

Recommended via a specialist for optimal function:

• Check system version: tap System information
• Manual update: download from Å KODA update portal
• Save update to USB, insert into front USB, tap System information → Update software

Screen Overview & Operation

• Status bar
• Menu functional bar
• Other menu pages

Screen touch operation:

• Light touch only
• Drag up/down with two fingers: scroll contact list
• Pinch apart/together: zoom in/out images

Screen Settings

• Brightness level
• Switch off screen
• Display time
• Confirmation sounds and animations

Infotainment Keyboard

Keypad types depend on context and language:

• Alphanumeric
• Numeric
• Input / Search keypads

Keypad features:

• Delete characters (tap/hold)
• Change case / language / numeric keypad
• Insert space
• Move cursor left/right
• Confirm entered characters

Additional Keypad Features

• Display additional languages via flag symbol
• Select alternative characters by long press

Voice Control

Voice control is a dialogue system:

• Ignition and Infotainment must be on
• No telephone conversation can be active

Operation:

• Press multifunction steering wheel button or tap icon to activate
• Say command; icon indicates recognition
• After execution, voice control turns off

Stopping/resuming:

• Swipe on screen or say “pause” to stop
• Press button or tap icon to resume
• Press button twice or say “cancel” to end

Voice control restrictions:

• Some languages may not support voice control
• Cannot use during a phone call
• Clarity of generated messages may vary

Settings in menu Voice control:

• Confirmation tones
• Display of sample commands

Self-help

• Say “Help” to get tips on voice control
• Example commands display can be turned on/off in Infotainment or Instrument cluster

Radio

Overview

• Tap icon to display main menu
• Frequency range selection: AM, FM, DAB
• Preset buttons for stations
• Manual station search and information display (DAB)

Settings

• Digital radio reception: DAB and DAB+
• List available stations via menu
• Manual update shows program type and region

Operation

• Select station by tapping icons
• SCAN function: plays receivable stations sequentially
• Manual station search: tap, hold, or turn rotary control

Reception Restrictions

• Reception may be restricted in tunnels, buildings, mountains, or by rear window antennas
• Foils or metallic labels on windows may affect reception
• Å KODA does not guarantee RDS service availability

Saving and Deleting Stations

• Save current station as favourite: hold desired preset key
• Delete favourites: single or all preset buttons via menu

Traffic and Logos

• TP (traffic program) on/off for FM and DAB
• Assign/delete station logos from external sources
• Auto-assign logos when storing stations
• Regional FM logos can be set by country

Additional Settings

• Radio text reception on/off
• Automatic frequency control (AF) on/off
• Automatic regional FM station switching
• RDS function on/off (FM only)
• Additional DAB announcements on/off
• DAB station tracking on/off
• Automatic DAB-FM switching
• Enable/disable L-band DAB reception if available

Media

Precautions

• Do not save important data only on connected sources
• Reduce volume before connecting/changing audio sources
• Observe and confirm source information messages
• Follow applicable national copyright laws

Overview

• Tap icon to display main menu
• Select source
• Manage files and multimedia database

Operation Basics

• Album image / symbol: tap to display albums
• Playback: tap to play/pause, tap within 3s for previous song, hold to fast forward/rewind
• Drag over timeline for movement within track

Extended Operation

• Repeat current track or album/folder
• Random playback of album/folder
