Units and Factory Settings

Sound settings
The Infotainment sound is set in the Sound menu. Available options include:
- Setting the maximum volume when Infotainment is turned on
- Volume adjustment of individual Infotainment functions
- Setting the equalizer
- Adjusting the volume ratio
Advanced settings (depending on equipment):
- Setting the sound system
- Sound space optimisation for the driver
- Turn on/off and adjust the subwoofer volume
Configuration wizard
The wizard helps set certain Infotainment functions automatically when there are unset menu items or a new user account is selected.
- To switch off automatic display, tap Don't show again
- For manual display, tap Configuration wizard
Safely disconnect USB device
NOTICE: Risk of damage to data on the connected device!
- Tap Remove safely
- Select the desired device
- Disconnect/remove the device
Troubleshooting
Infotainment not responding:
- Press for more than 10 s to restart
- Wait for restart to complete
System update
Recommended to be carried out by a specialist to ensure optimal function and compatibility.
- Determine system version via System information
- Manual update:
- Visit Å KODA update portal
- Save update to USB
- Insert USB and tap System information → Update software
- Select USB device as source and confirm update
Screen
Overview:
- A - Status bar
- B - Functional surfaces of the displayed menu
- C - Other pages of the menu
Operation notice: Touch lightly to operate the screen. Functions are similar to a mobile phone.

Infotainment Keyboard
Keypad overview
The layout depends on the Infotainment language. Types include:
- Alphanumeric
- Numeric
- Input keypad
- Search keypad
Keypad example
A - Input line
- Delete characters before the cursor
- Tap: delete last character
- Hold: delete all characters
- Show list of searched entries
B - Functional surfaces
- Change to lowercase / First capital letter
- Switch language keypad / Numeric keypad
- Show additional languages
- Insert a space / Hold for additional variants
- Move cursor left/right
- Confirm entered characters
Numeric keypad
A - Input line
- Delete characters before the cursor
- Tap: delete last character
- Hold: delete all characters
B - Functional surfaces
- Confirm entered characters
- Context-sensitive: Hold a digit to enter alphanumeric characters
Operation
The keypad is automatically displayed when characters are required. Searching for entries will filter matching stored entries. Additional languages can be displayed via the flag icon.
Radio
Overview
- Display main menu: tap icon
- Analogue and digital reception:
- A - Select frequency range
- B - FM: Radio text, DAB: Station group name
- C - Preset buttons for preferred stations
- Manual station search, display station info (DAB)
Settings
Supports DAB and DAB+ reception. Stations can be filtered, manually updated, saved to favourites, or deleted.
Buttons
Change station using arrow buttons in the Radio main menu.
Traffic reception
Enable/disable TP for FM and DAB. Advanced DAB settings include station tracking and switching between FM/DAB automatically.
Media
Usage
- Do not save unbacked-up data
- Reduce volume when changing/connecting audio sources
- Observe copyright laws
Operation basics
- Tap album symbol to display/play/pause tracks
- Previous/next song tap or hold for fast forward/rewind
- Drag timeline to move within track
Extended operation
- Turn repeat of current track/album on/off
- Turn random playback on/off
- Mix/Repeat including subfolders
- Traffic programme (TP) on/off
Safely disconnect device
- Tap Safely remove, select device, disconnect
Bluetooth® player
Audio via A2DP/AVRCP. Only one device can be used as player. Pair via Bluetooth®. CarPlay/Android Auto disables Bluetooth audio.
SD card
NOTICE: Risk of damaging card. Insert bevelled corner right, remove safely, adapter use may cause vibrations.
USB device
- Insert into port to connect
- Use USB ports that support data transfer
- Disconnect via Remove safely
- Extension cables may affect playback
- Charging starts automatically if ignition on and device allows charging
