Instruments

  1. Tachometer
    Indicates the engine speed (r/min). It helps achieve economical driving and warns of excessive engine speeds (Red zone).
  2. Multi-information display
  3. Speedometer (km/h or mph + km/h)
  4. Multi information display switch

CAUTION

  • When driving, watch the tachometer to make sure that the engine speed does not rise into the red zone (excessive rpm).

Multi-information Display

Always stop the vehicle in a safe place before operating.

The following information is included:

  1. Engine coolant temperature display
  2. Selector lever position display*
  3. Speed limiter display*
  4. Gearshift indicator*
  5. Fuel remaining display
  6. Frozen road warning*
  7. Information display
  8. Service reminder
NOTE
  • When the ignition switch or operation mode is OFF, certain displays will not appear (speed limiter, gearshift indicator, selector lever position, fuel remaining, coolant temperature, frozen road warning).

Information Display

Each time you lightly press the multi information display switch, the display changes in the following order:

  1. Odometer
  2. Tripmeter
  3. Tripmeter
  4. Meter illumination control
  5. Driving range display
  6. Average fuel consumption display
  7. Auto Stop & Go monitor*
  8. Outside temperature display*
  9. Service reminder (distance)
  10. Service reminder (month)
NOTE
  • Driving range, average fuel consumption, and outside temperature are not displayed when ignition is OFF.
  • While driving, the service reminder is not displayed even if the switch is operated.

Odometer

Indicates the total distance travelled.

Tripmeter

Indicates the distance travelled between two points.

To Reset the Tripmeter

Hold down the multi information display switch for about 2 seconds or more. Only the currently displayed tripmeter will reset to “0”.

NOTE
  • If the battery is disconnected, the tripmeter memory is cleared.

Meter Illumination Control

Press and hold the multi information display switch for about 2 seconds to change brightness.

  • 8 brightness levels available.
  • Brightness is stored when ignition is turned OFF.
  • With automatic lamp control, brightness adjusts automatically depending on outside light.

Driving Range Display

Displays approximate remaining driving distance.

  • If below approx. 50 km (30 miles), “---” is displayed.
NOTE
  • Based on fuel consumption data; treat as a guideline.
  • Updated after refueling (best accuracy when tank is full).
  • May vary on steep inclines due to fuel movement.
  • Units can be changed (km or miles).

Average Fuel Consumption Display

Displays average fuel consumption since last reset.

  • Reset mode: Auto reset or Manual reset.
  • “---” appears when consumption cannot be measured.
  • Default setting: Auto reset mode.
  • Units can be changed (km/L, L/100 km, mpg).
NOTE
  • Fuel consumption depends on driving conditions.
  • Memory is erased if battery is disconnected.

Auto Stop & Go Monitor*

Displays accumulated engine stop time by the AS&G system.

NOTE
  • Resets when ignition is turned ON again.

Outside Temperature Display*

Shows outside vehicle temperature.

NOTE
  • Units can be changed (°C or °F).
  • Displayed temperature may vary from actual conditions.

Frozen Road Warning*

If outside temperature drops below approx. 3°C (37°F), an alarm sounds and the warning symbol flashes for about 10 seconds.

CAUTION

  • Roads may still be icy even if the symbol is not flashing. Drive carefully.

Engine Coolant Temperature Display

Indicates engine coolant temperature. If overheating, the warning symbol blinks and the bar graph enters the red zone.

CAUTION

  • If overheating occurs, park safely and take necessary measures.

Fuel Remaining Display

Indicates fuel level when ignition is ON.

  • 1 = Full
  • 0 = Empty
NOTE
  • Display stabilises a few seconds after refueling.
  • Fuel lid mark indicates filler door location (left side).

Fuel Remaining Warning

If fuel is approx. 10 litres or less, the last segment flashes. If fuel decreases further, the segment disappears and warning symbol flashes.

CAUTION

  • Do not drive with extremely low fuel level.

Service Reminder

Displays time until next periodic inspection recommended by MITSUBISHI MOTORS.

  • Spanner mark indicates inspection.
  • Distance shown in 100 km (100 miles).
  • Time shown in months.

To Reset Service Reminder

  1. Switch to service reminder display.
  2. Hold switch for 2 seconds until spanner flashes.
  3. Press again to change “---” to “cLEAr”.

CAUTION

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring periodic inspection and maintenance.
NOTE
  • Cannot reset when ignition is ON.
  • If reset accidentally, consult a MITSUBISHI MOTORS Authorized Service Point.

Changing Function Settings

The following settings can be modified when ignition is ON:

  • Average fuel consumption reset mode
  • Fuel consumption unit
  • Temperature unit

CAUTION

  • Do not operate the display while driving. Stop the vehicle in a safe area.

Changing Reset Mode for Average Fuel Consumption

  1. Switch to driving range display.
  2. Press and hold switch for 2 seconds to toggle between:
    • Auto reset mode
    • Manual reset mode
