Change the Display Mode

Press the DISP key to switch the display content. Each press changes the content.

CAUTION: Changing display contents may impede safe driving. Check safety before operation.

NOTE: Up to 11 characters are displayed at once. For 12+ characters, press PAGE key to view subsequent characters.

During DAB Reception*

Display switches: “Service name” → “Ensemble name” → “CH no. (CH ID)”.

NOTE: If service or ensemble text is unavailable, nothing is displayed.

During CD-DA Playback

Display switches: “Disc title” → “Track title” → “Operating status”.

NOTE: If no text information, “NO TITLE” is displayed.

During MP3/WMA/AAC Playback

Display switches: “Folder title” → “File title” → “Operating status”.

NOTE: If no text information, “NO TITLE” is displayed.

Display the ID3tag

Hold DISP key to switch ID3tag display: “Album name” → “Track name” → “Artist name” → “Genre name”* → “Operating status”.

NOTE: Hold DISP key to switch to folder title display. Genre may not be displayed. *Displayed for USB audio files (vehicles with Bluetooth® 2.0 interface).

During iPod Playback

Display order: “Albums” → “Track name” → “Artist name” → “Genre name”* → “Operating status”.

NOTE: If no text information, “NO TITLE” is displayed. Genre display may not be available. *Bluetooth® 2.0 interface required.

During Bluetooth® 2.0 Audio Playback*

Operating same as iPod playback.

Audio Quality and Volume Balance Adjustment

  1. Press /SEL to select setting item: BASS → TREBLE → FADER → BALANCE → SCV → Cancel.
  2. Turn /SEL to adjust:

System Settings

  1. Press MENU key.
  2. Press /SEL to select item: DAB setting*, Gracenote DB*, AF, REG, TP-S, PI-S, PTY language, PHONE settings, CT Adjust time, Cancel.
  3. Turn /SEL to adjust.
  4. Press /SEL to confirm.

*Displayed when DAB tuner connected or playing Bluetooth® 2.0 audio.

DAB Settings*

Time Setting

With CT OFF, manual time adjustment is possible:

  1. Select YES at “Adjust time”, press /SEL.
  2. Adjust hour/minute with /SEL.
  3. Press /SEL to confirm. Hold /SEL until seconds reset to “00”.

PHONE Settings

Adjust mobile phone voice cut-in and Bluetooth® 2.0 language settings. Depending on vehicle, some settings may not be available.

HFM Voice Language Settings

Gracenote DB (Bluetooth® 2.0 vehicles)

  1. Select Gracenote DB, press /SEL.
  2. Turn /SEL to DB Version, press /SEL to display version.

Sound Issues

If sound is absent or quiet:
