Turn-signal / Hazard Warning Indication Lamps

These lamps blink under the following conditions:

  • Turn-signal lever activated
  • Hazard warning switch pressed
  • Automatic activation of hazard lamps due to sudden braking

High-beam Indication Lamp

Illuminates when high-beams are used.

Front Fog Lamp Indication Lamp*

Illuminates while front fog lamps are on.

Rear Fog Lamp Indication Lamp

Illuminates while rear fog lamp is on.

Position Lamp Indication Lamp*

Illuminates while position lamps are on.

Diesel Preheat Indication Lamp

Indicates glow plug preheat condition.

  • Vehicles without keyless operation: lamp ON when ignition is ON; goes off as glow plug heats.
  • Vehicles with keyless operation: lamp ON in ON mode; goes off as glow plug heats.

CAUTION

  • If lamp stays ON after engine start, idle for ~10 minutes, then cycle ignition to OFF/ON to reset.

Fuel Filter Indication Lamp

Illuminates when ignition is ON; goes off after engine starts. If ON during running, water may have accumulated in fuel filter. Drain water before driving.

Brake Warning Lamp

Illuminates when ignition is ON; goes off after few seconds. Checks parking brake, brake fluid, and brake force distribution. Buzzer sounds if vehicle moves >8 km/h with parking brake applied.

CAUTION

  • Avoid driving at high speeds or applying brakes suddenly if warning is ON. Stop safely and inspect brakes.

Check Engine Warning Lamp

Monitors emissions, engine control, and A/T system. Illuminates or flashes if a problem is detected. Lamp ON at ignition ON, goes off after engine starts.

CAUTION

  • Prolonged driving with lamp ON may damage emissions system.
  • If lamp illuminates while driving, reduce speed and inspect at Authorized Service Point.

Charge Warning Lamp

Illuminates at ignition ON; goes off after engine starts. If ON while running, charging system fault—stop safely and inspect.

Oil Pressure Warning Lamp

Illuminates at ignition ON; goes off after engine starts. If ON while running, oil pressure is too low. Stop engine and inspect immediately.

Door Ajar Warning Lamp

Illuminates when a door is open or not fully closed. Buzzer sounds 4 times if vehicle moves >8 km/h with door ajar.

Washer Fluid Level Warning Lamp*

Illuminates when washer fluid is low. Refill container promptly.


Combination Headlamps and Dipper Switch

Headlamps

  • Do not leave lamps on with engine off to prevent battery drain.
  • Lenses may fog from rain or washing; heating will clear fog.
  • HID bulbs may become bluish-white over time; end-of-life may reduce brightness or change color.

Switch Types

Type 1: Rotate to turn on lamps: OFF = all off, Position = position/tail/license/inst. lamps, Headlamps = all lamps on.

Type 2: OFF = all off, AUTO = lamps automatically controlled by outside light, Position = position/tail/license/inst. lamps, Headlamps = all lamps on.

Notes

  • Automatic on/off sensitivity adjustable by service point.
  • Front/rear fog lamps turn off automatically with headlamps or tail lamps OFF.
  • Do not cover the sensor for automatic control.

Lamp Auto-Cutout Function

Lamps automatically turn off when driver’s door is opened under specific conditions (keyless or standard ignition system). Function can be disabled by service point.

Lamp Monitor Buzzer

Buzzer reminds driver to turn off lamps if door is opened while lamps ON. Stops automatically if lamps switched off or door closed.

Daytime Running Lamps

Automatically ON when engine running and switch in OFF/AUTO position with tail lamps off.

Dipper (High/Low Beam)

Lever changes between high and low beam. High-beam indicator illuminates when high-beam is on. Headlamps can flash when switch OFF.

Headlamp Levelling Switch

Adjusts beam angle based on vehicle load to prevent glare to other drivers. Always adjust before driving.

Turn-Signal Lever

  • Normal turns: lever returns automatically.
  • Lane-change: lever partially pulled; lamps flash 3 times.
  • Quick flash may indicate bulb failure.

Hazard Warning Flasher Switch

Operates hazard lamps for emergencies; works regardless of ignition position. Push switch to turn ON/OFF.

Fog Lamp Switch*

Front fog lamps operate when head/tail lamps ON. Indicator illuminates. Automatically turns OFF when head/tail lamps OFF. Use only in fog conditions.

Rear Fog Lamp Switch

Operates with headlamps or front fog lamps ON. Indicator illuminates when ON.
