Quick Guide – Locking and Unlocking the Doors

Keyless Entry System*

Press the key switch to lock or unlock all doors. The system operates within approximately 4 m from the vehicle.

  • 1. LOCK switch
  • 2. UNLOCK switch
  • 3. Indication lamp

Vehicles equipped with the mirror retractor switch can automatically fold or extend the outside rear-view mirrors when pressing the LOCK or UNLOCK switch.

Keyless Operation System*

When carrying the keyless operation key and within approximately 70 cm of the driver’s or front passenger’s door, press the door switch (A) to lock or unlock the doors.

Around the Driver’s Seat

1. Electric Remote-Controlled Outside Rear-View Mirrors*

  • L – Left mirror adjustment
  • R – Right mirror adjustment
  • 1 – Up
  • 2 – Down
  • 3 – Right
  • 4 – Left
  • 5 – Mirror retractor switch*

2. Engine Switch*

With the keyless operation key, press the engine switch to change modes:

  • OFF – Indicator lamp off
  • ACC – Indicator lamp illuminates orange
  • ON – Indicator lamp illuminates green

3. Combination Headlamps

Type 1

  • OFF – All lamps off
  • Position – Position, tail, licence plate & instrument panel lamps on
  • Headlamps – All lamps on

Type 2

  • OFF – All lamps off
  • AUTO – Lamps operate automatically depending on outside light level
  • Position – Position, tail, licence plate & instrument panel lamps on
  • Headlamps – All lamps on

Turn-Signal Lever

  • 1 – Turn signals
  • 2 – Lane-change signals

4. Steering Wheel Height and Reach Adjustment

  1. Release the lever while holding the steering wheel.
  2. Adjust to desired position.
  3. Lock securely by pulling the lever upward.

A – Locked
B – Release

5. Wiper and Washer Switch

Without rain sensor:

  • MIST – Operates once
  • OFF – Off
  • INT – Intermittent
  • LO – Slow
  • HI – Fast

With rain sensor:

  • MIST – Operates once
  • OFF – Off
  • AUTO – Automatic depending on rain intensity
  • LO – Slow
  • HI – Fast

Pull the lever towards you to spray washer fluid.

6. Electric Window Control*

  • 1 – Driver’s window
  • 2 – Front passenger’s window
  • 3 – Rear left window (Double cab)
  • 4 – Rear right window (Double cab)
  • 5 – Lock switch

Press the lock switch to disable passenger window controls.

7. Fuel Tank Filler Door Release Lever*

Opens the fuel tank filler door. Located on the rear left side of the vehicle.

Automatic Transmission – Sports Mode 5A/T

The transmission automatically selects the optimum gear ratio based on speed and accelerator position.

  • P – Park
  • R – Reverse
  • N – Neutral
  • D – Drive
