Sunvisors

Lower the sunvisor for use in front or swing it to the side as needed.

Vanity Mirrors

To use the vanity mirror, lower the sunvisor. If equipped with a vanity mirror light, it illuminates when the cover is opened. The light only operates within the tilt range shown in the vehicle illustration.

NOTE: If the vanity mirror light is left on with ignition OFF, it turns off automatically to prevent battery discharge. It can be turned on again by opening/closing a door, unlocking a door, switching ignition to ACC/ON, or turning on an overhead/front map light.
Interior Lights
NOTE: Do not leave lights on for long periods with engine off; battery may deplete.
Overhead Lights

Front:

  • Indicator light
  • Switch Overhead Lights ON/OFF: Press to toggle on/off.
  • Door Interlock ON/OFF:
    • ON: Lights turn on when doors open, work with illuminated entry system.
    • OFF: Lights do not turn on when doors open or with entry system.

Rear: Rear overhead lights follow front overhead light switch operation.

Front Map Lights

Press switch to turn on/off. Front map lights may not turn off if overhead lights are on, doors open/close, or illuminated entry system is active.

Rear Map Lights

Press switch to turn on/off. Rear map lights follow overhead light operation and may not turn off under certain conditions.

Boot Light (Saloon)

Turns on when boot is open, off when closed. Avoid leaving boot open with engine off to prevent battery drain.

Luggage Compartment Light (Hatchback)

Turns on when liftgate is open, off when closed. Do not leave open with engine off.

Illuminated Entry System

Overhead lights turn on when driver’s door is unlocked with ignition OFF, or ignition OFF with all doors closed. Battery saver turns lights off automatically after ~15 minutes if ignition is OFF.

Accessory Sockets

Use only genuine Mazda accessories ≤120 W (DC 12 V, 10 A). Ignition must be ACC/ON.

  • Do not exceed power limits or use non-genuine accessories.
  • Close cover when not in use.
  • Do not insert cigarette lighter.
  • Audio noise or electrical system issues may occur depending on device; disconnect if necessary.
  • Do not use socket for long periods with engine off.

To connect: open lid, pass cord through console cutout, insert plug into socket.

Cup Holders

WARNING: Never hold hot liquids while moving. Only use for cups or drink cans to avoid injury or interference with driving.

Front Cup Holders: Type A and Type B, push release button to use.

Rear Cup Holder*: Located on rear centre armrest.

Bottle Holders

Located inside doors. Do not use for containers without caps; contents may spill.

Assist Grips

WARNING: Do not hang heavy/sharp objects. Only use grips to support body while seated.

Rear Coat Hooks

WARNING: Hang clothes without hangers. Heavy/sharp objects can be dangerous.

Storage Compartments

WARNING: Keep closed when driving. Items without lid may fly around in sudden stops.

CAUTION: Do not leave lighters or eyeglasses in storage under sun; high heat may cause damage.

Overhead Console*

Stores eyeglasses or accessories. Push and release to open.

Storage Pocket

Open lid to use.

Glove Compartment

Pull knob to open, press centre of lid to close.

Centre Console

Slide lid by pulling knob rearward. Lift lid after sliding. Lid operation limited if rear seatback is folded. Divider allows storage of small items.

Luggage Compartment

Saloon (Golf Bags): Up to two golf bags can be loaded; position bottoms as indicated for front/back placement.
