The system operates only when the key is within operational range. Each time the push button start is pressed, the ignition switches between OFF, ACC, and ON. Pressing again from ON switches the ignition OFF.
Electrical power is off and the steering wheel is locked.
Always switch ignition OFF, set the parking brake, and place transmission in P (automatic) or 1st/R (manual) before leaving the vehicle.
Some accessories operate and the steering wheel is unlocked.
Normal running position after engine start. Warning lights should be checked before starting.
Radio waves from the key may affect medical devices such as pacemakers.

If the engine does not start normally and warning indicators appear, press and hold the push button start until the engine starts.
Do not stop the engine while the vehicle is moving except in emergencies.

The engine cooling fan may continue running briefly after the engine is turned off.
