Fuel and Emission
Refuelling Procedure
- Press the indicated location and open the fuel-filler flap.
- Turn the fuel-filler cap anticlockwise to remove it.
- Attach the removed cap to the inner side of the fuel-filler flap.
- Insert the refuelling nozzle fully and begin refuelling. Remove the nozzle once refuelling stops automatically.
- Turn the fuel-filler cap clockwise until a click is heard.
- Press the fuel-filler flap until a click sound is heard.
- Lock all doors when leaving the vehicle.
NOTE
Lock the doors after closing the fuel-filler flap. If the flap is closed after locking, it may not lock properly.
Mirrors
Adjust inside and outside mirrors before driving.
Outside Mirrors
WARNING
Convex mirrors make objects appear closer than they are. Always check over your shoulder before changing lanes.
- Driver side: Flat mirror
- Passenger side: Convex mirror
Power Mirror Adjustment
- Switch ignition to ACC or ON.
- Press the select switch to choose the mirror.
- Use the adjustment switch to set the mirror angle.
Reverse Tilt Function
- Switch ignition ON.
- Select the mirror.
- Shift to Reverse to tilt the mirror downward.
Folding Mirrors
WARNING
- Do not drive with mirrors folded.
- Avoid touching mirrors while moving.
- Operate mirrors only when the vehicle is parked.
Use the folding switch to fold or unfold mirrors. Automatic folding may occur when locking or unlocking doors.
Rearview Mirror
WARNING
Do not stack cargo above seatbacks as it may block rear visibility.
Adjust the rearview mirror to centre the rear window view.
Manual Antidazzle Mirror
Push lever forward for day mode and pull backward to reduce glare at night.
Auto-Dimming Mirror
Automatically reduces glare when ignition is ON.
Power Windows
- Ensure the window opening is clear before closing.
- Do not allow children to play with window switches.
- Keep body parts inside the vehicle while driving.
Opening and Closing
Press the switch to open and pull up to close when ignition is ON.
Auto Operation
- Press fully to auto-open.
- Pull fully to auto-close.
- Operate switch opposite direction to stop.
Jam-safe Function
If an object is detected, the window stops and reopens slightly.
Sunroof
- Do not allow passengers to extend body parts through the sunroof.
- Keep children away from sunroof controls.
- Ensure the opening is clear before closing.
CAUTION
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the sunroof area.
- Do not operate during freezing conditions.
- Do not force the sunshade.
Tilt / Slide Operation
The sunroof operates when ignition is ON.
Tilt
- Press switch to tilt open.
- Press forward to close.
Slide
- Press backward to open.
- Press forward to close.
Jam-safe Sunroof
If an obstruction is detected while closing, the sunroof reopens automatically.
Sunshade
The sunshade opens with the sunroof but must be closed manually.
