-
While the windscreen washers are operating (from the time the wiper lever is pulled
until the washer fluid stops spraying), the rear window washer does not spray fluid
even if you operate the switch.
-
If the washer does not work, inspect the fluid level. If the fluid level is normal
and the washer still does not operate, consult an expert repairer.

The rear window defogger clears fog from the rear window.
The ignition must be switched ON to use the defogger.

15 minutes and then turns off automatically. The indicator light illuminates while operating.
To turn off the rear window defogger before 15 minutes have elapsed, press the switch again.

Do not use sharp instruments or abrasive window cleaners on the inside of the rear window.
They may damage the defogger grid.

-
The operation time can be changed from 15 minutes to continuous operation.
When set to continuous mode, the defogger operates until the ignition is switched OFF.

Hazard Warning Flasher
The hazard warning lights should always be used when you stop on or near
a roadway in an emergency.
Depress the hazard warning flasher switch and all direction indicators will flash.
The hazard warning indicator lights in the instrument cluster flash simultaneously.
NOTE:
- The direction indicators do not work when the hazard warning lights are on.
-
Check local regulations regarding the use of hazard warning lights
while the vehicle is being towed.
-
If the brake pedal is depressed while driving on slippery roads,
the emergency stop signal system may operate causing all turn and
lane-change signals to flash.
-
While the emergency stop signal system is operating, all direction
indicators automatically flash rapidly to warn following drivers
of sudden braking.
