Replacing the rear wiper blade
The rear wiper blade is engaged on the end
of the wiper arm. To replace the wiper blade,
proceed as follows:
1.
Push the lever on the wiper arm down, ar-
row 1, and pull off the wiper blade, arrow 2.
2.
Attach the new wiper blade. The wiper
blade must engage audibly.
Bulbs and lights
Principle
The bulbs and lights contribute significantly to
driving safety.
All
headlights and lights are designed using
LED technology at
least.
In the event that they are no longer operat-
ing properly, have the headlights and lights
checked by an authorized service center or an-
other qualified service center or repair shop.
Safety information
WARNING
Intense brightness can irritate or damage the
retina of the eye. There is a risk of injury. Do
not look directly into the headlights or other
light sources. Do not remove the LED covers.
Headlight glass
The inside of the headlight glass may fog up in
cool or damp weather. Condensation will dis-
appear after a short time when driving with the
lights on. The headlight glass does not need to
be changed.
If, despite
driving with the headlights switched
on, moisture such as water droplets increas-
ingly forms in the light, have the headlights
checked.
Vehicle battery
Principle
The vehicle battery is
maintenance-free.
In the event of a malfunction, the vehicle man-
ufacturer recommends having any correspond-
ing work, e.g., replacing the vehicle battery,
performed by an authorized service center or
another qualified service
center or repair shop.

Mild Hybrid technology
Principle
Mild hybrid technology helps to reduce fuel
consumption. The mild hybrid technology in-
cludes a battery with a
voltage of 48 V.
The battery for mild hybrid technology is lo-
cated below the cargo area
floor.
With mild hybrid technology: do not remove the
cargo area floor and do not fold up the front
part of the cargo area
floor.
