It is necessary to reinitialise the system every time one or more tyre pressures are adjusted, and after changing one or more wheels. Before reinitialising, ensure the pressures of the four tyres are correct for vehicle use and in line with the tyre pressure label recommendations.
The under-inflation alert can only be relied on if the system was reinitialised with the correct pressures in all four tyres. The system does not give a warning if a pressure is incorrect at the time of reinitialisation.
Flashing followed by fixed illumination of the under-inflation warning lamp, accompanied by the Service warning lamp, indicates a system fault. Under-inflation monitoring is no longer assured. Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop.
Touch screen Screen A: Before doing anything to the system, check the pressures of all four tyres and reinitialise the system.
When low fuel is reached, a warning lamp comes on in the instrument panel. Approximately 5 litres remain in the tank. If the lamp flashes, very little fuel is left. The key cannot be removed from the lock until the cap is refitted. Removing the filler cap may cause an inrush of air due to system sealing; this is normal.
Capacity: ~50 litres. Refuelling procedure:
With Stop & Start, never refuel in STOP mode; always switch off ignition. Refuel promptly to avoid running out of fuel. For Diesel, refer to "Running out of fuel - Diesel" section. Filler flap contains a self-adhesive label indicating recommended fuel type. Minimum 5 litres addition required to register on fuel gauge.
Particle filter saturation is indicated by a fixed warning lamp and message. First regenerations may emit a "burnt" smell; this is normal. After low-speed/idle operation, water vapour may be emitted on acceleration; this is normal. Drive ≥40 mph (60 km/h) to regenerate. Low additive level triggers service warning lamp and audible alert; topping-up must be done promptly by a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop.
Fuel supply is cut off in the event of an impact. If wrong fuel is added, drain tank and refill correctly before engine start.
Fuel canisters may be used carefully: do not place nozzle in direct contact with the misfuel flap, pour slowly. Diesel vehicles have mechanical devices preventing petrol filling. On Diesel engines, petrol nozzle meets flap, system remains closed; use Diesel nozzle instead.
Compatible with E10 bio-petrol (10% ethanol, EN 228/EN 15376). E85 fuels (up to 85% ethanol) only for BioFlex vehicles; ethanol must comply with EN 15293.
Compatible with biofuels meeting current/future European standards:
B20 or B30 fuels (EN 16709) can be used with strict servicing for "Arduous conditions". Other fuels (vegetable oils, domestic fuels, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Only Diesel additives meeting B715000 standard are allowed.
Fit only to front wheels; never on "space-saver" spare wheels. Follow legislation for snow chains and maximum speed. Avoid cleared roads to prevent tyre/road damage. On alloy wheels, ensure chains/fixings do not contact rim.
Use chains designed for the vehicle wheel type. For more information, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop.
