Boot
Opening
- Using the key.
- Using the remote control.

After unlocking the boot or the vehicle, press the opening control which releases
the tailgate, then guide it open.
Closing
- Lower the tailgate using the interior grab handle.
- If necessary, press down on the tailgate to fully close it.
Boot still open
With the engine running, an open boot is indicated by:
- A warning lamp coming on.
- An alert message displayed for a few seconds.
With the vehicle moving (speed higher than 6 mph / 10 km/h):
- The warning lamp comes on.
- An alert message appears for a few seconds.
- An audible signal sounds.
Tailgate release
System for mechanical unlocking of the boot in the event of a central locking malfunction.
Unlocking
- Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the lock from inside the boot.
- Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of the lock to unlock the tailgate.
Changing the battery
Battery reference: CR1620 / 3 volts.
If the battery is flat, a warning lamp lights in the instrument panel,
an audible signal sounds and a message appears on the screen.
- Unclip the cover using a screwdriver in the cutout.
- Remove the cover.
- Extract the flat battery from its location.
- Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the original.
- Clip the cover back into place.
Do not throw remote control batteries away. They contain metals harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collection point.
Remote control problem
Reinitialisation
- Switch off the ignition.
- Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition).
- Press the closed padlock button immediately for a few seconds.
- Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
The remote control should now be fully operational again.
After disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery
or in the event of a remote control malfunction, you may no longer be able to unlock,
lock or locate your vehicle.
- First use the key in the lock to unlock or lock the vehicle.
- Then reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
Lost keys
Go to a PEUGEOT dealer with:
- The vehicle registration document.
- Your personal identification documents.
- If possible, the key code label.
The dealer will be able to obtain the key code and transponder code
required to order a new key.
Remote control

The high frequency remote control is sensitive; avoid pressing buttons
while it is in your pocket as the vehicle may unlock unintentionally.

Do not repeatedly press the buttons when out of range of the vehicle,
as the remote control may stop working and require reinitialisation.

No remote control can operate when the key is in the ignition switch,
even when the ignition is switched off, except during reinitialisation.
Anti-theft protection

Do not modify the electronic engine immobiliser system as it may cause malfunctions.
Locked vehicle

Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compartment
more difficult for emergency services.

Never leave children alone in the vehicle except for a very short time.

Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle.
Second-hand vehicle
Have all keys paired by a PEUGEOT dealer to ensure that only your keys
can open and start the vehicle.
Window controls
Manual mode

Open: Press the control without going past the point of resistance.
The window stops when the control is released.

Close: Pull the control without going past the point of resistance.
The window stops when the control is released.
Automatic mode
-
Press the control beyond the resistance point. The window opens fully after releasing it.

Pull the control beyond the resistance point. The window closes fully after releasing it.
-
Pressing or pulling again stops the movement of the window.
The electric window controls remain operational for about 1 minute
after the key is removed. After that time, switch the ignition on again to reactivate them.
Anti-pinch system
If the window encounters an obstacle while closing, it stops and partially lowers again.

If the window opens unintentionally during automatic closing,
press the control until the window opens fully.
-
Then pull the control immediately until the window closes and hold it for about 1 second.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active during this operation.
Reinitialisation
After reconnecting the battery, the anti-pinch safety system must be reinitialised.
- Lower the window completely.

Raise it again; it will move in small steps each time the switch is pressed.
- Repeat the operation until the window closes completely.

Hold the switch upwards for at least 1 second once the window is closed.
Inhibition
For the safety of children, press the control to prevent operation of the rear windows.
- When the warning lamp is on, the rear switches are deactivated.
- When the warning lamp is off, the switches are active.
Advice
- Always remove the key when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time.

If contact occurs while operating the windows, reverse the movement using the switch.

The driver must ensure that passengers use the electric windows correctly.

Be especially careful when children are present while operating the windows.
