Identification Markings

Various visible markings for the identification of your vehicle.

A. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) under the bonnet

This number is engraved on the bodywork near the damper support.

The tyre pressures must be checked when the tyres are cold, at least once a month. Low tyre pressures increase fuel consumption.

B. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at the bottom of the windscreen

This number is indicated on a self-adhesive label visible through the windscreen.

C. Manufacturer's Label

The VIN is also indicated on a self-destroying label affixed to the middle pillar on the passenger side.

D. Tyre/Paint Label

This label is fitted to the middle pillar on the driver’s side and includes:

  • Tyre inflation pressures with and without load
  • Tyre sizes
  • Inflation pressure of the spare wheel
  • Paint colour code

Emergency Call – PEUGEOT Connect SOS

The green indicator lamp comes on for 3 seconds when the ignition is switched on, indicating that a call can be made.

Operation: Emergency Call

  • Press the button for more than 2 seconds to start a call to the PEUGEOT Connect SOS centre.
  • The green indicator lamp flashes.
  • A voice message confirms that the call is being processed.

The green indicator lamp remains fixed when communication has been established and switches off when the communication ends.

If the orange indicator lamp comes on:
  • Flashing then off: system fault.
  • Constant: backup battery must be replaced.
In both cases the emergency and assistance services may not operate correctly.

System Operation Test

  • In countries where the service is unavailable or location services are declined, the call is sent directly to emergency services (112).
  • 112 is the emergency call number accepted throughout the European Union.

PEUGEOT Connect SOS is subject to service terms and technological limitations.

Inadvertent Press

  • Pressing the button activates the green indicator lamp.
  • Pressing again immediately cancels the call.
  • A voice message confirms the cancellation.

If the call connects, inform the contact that it was made in error.

The PEUGEOT Connect SOS centre immediately locates your vehicle and communicates in your language depending on geographical coverage and service availability.

The list of countries covered by PEUGEOT CONNECT services is available from dealers or online.

A system fault does not prevent the vehicle from being driven.

Peugeot Connect Assistance

If an impact is detected by the airbag control unit, an emergency call may be made automatically, even if airbags are not deployed.

If the vehicle was purchased outside the PEUGEOT dealer network, a dealer can check and configure these services.

In multilingual countries, configuration is possible in the official national language of your choice.

Assistance Call

  • Press the assistance button for more than 2 seconds to initiate a call.
  • A voice message confirms the call.

Inadvertent Press

  • Press the button again immediately to cancel the call.
  • A voice message confirms the cancellation.

For technical reasons and service improvements, the manufacturer may update the vehicle's onboard telematic system.

If you benefit from the Peugeot Connect Packs with SOS and assistance services, additional services are available through your MyPeugeot personal account on the Peugeot website.
