Pull the stalk to switch the lighting between dipped / main beam headlamps. In the lighting off and sidelamps modes, the driver can switch on the main beam headlamps temporarily ("headlamp flash") by maintaining a pull on the stalk.
Illumination of the corresponding indicator lamp in the instrument panel confirms the lighting switched on. Place the desired symbol against the marking.
The sidelamps and dipped beam headlamps are switched on automatically without any action from the driver when a low level of ambient light is detected or in certain cases of activation of the windscreen wipers. Lamps switch off automatically when brightness returns to a sufficient level or after the wipers are switched off.
On: Turn the ring to the "AUTO" position. Activation is accompanied by a message in the screen.
Off: Turn the ring to another position. Deactivation is accompanied by a message in the screen.
Association with automatic lighting provides guide-me-home lighting with the following options:
In case of a sunshine sensor fault, the lighting may not come on automatically. Do not cover the sunshine sensor located in the centre of the windscreen behind the rear view mirror.
If the lighting comes on, a warning lamp is displayed in the instrument panel and/or a message appears on the screen, accompanied by an audible signal. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop if needed.
On: With the ignition off, "flash" the headlamps using the lighting stalk. A further "headlamp flash" switches the function off.
Off: The manual guide-me-home lighting switches off automatically after a set time.
Side markers for the vehicle illuminate the sidelamps on the traffic side only. Within one minute of switching off the ignition, operate the lighting control stalk up or down depending on the traffic side (for example, parking on the left: stalk upwards; right hand sidelamps are on).
Manual guide-me-home lighting is also available from the remote control lighting button. This is confirmed by an audible signal and illumination of the corresponding direction indicator warning lamp in the instrument panel.
