Cornering Lighting

With cornering lighting / Without cornering lighting

Activation

The system operates:

  • When the corresponding direction indicator is switched on
  • From a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel
Programming

The system is activated or deactivated in the vehicle configuration menu. It is activated by default.

Deactivation

The system does not operate:

  • Below a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel
  • Above 25 mph (40 km/h)
  • When reverse gear is engaged

Wipers

Manual Mode

The wipers are controlled directly by the driver.

Front
  • Fast (heavy rain)
  • Normal (moderate rain)
  • Intermittent (proportional to the speed of the vehicle)
  • Park
  • Single wipe (press down and release)

Switching on: Briefly push the control stalk downwards. A wiping cycle confirms the instruction; a warning lamp comes on in the instrument panel.

Switching off: Push the control stalk downwards again, or place it in another position (Int, 1, or 2).

AUTO Mode

The windscreen wipers operate automatically when rain is detected (sensor behind the rear view mirror), adapting speed to the intensity of the rainfall.

Rear
  • Park
  • Intermittent wipe
  • Wash-wipe (set duration)
  • Reverse gear: rear wiper activates if front wipers are operating
Configuration

Press "MENU" > Driving > Secondary page > Vehicle settings > Driving assistance tab. Activate the "Auto rear wiper in reverse" function. This function is activated by default.

Off

Deactivate the "Auto rear wiper in reverse" function. Automatic rain-sensitive wipers must be reactivated if ignition has been off >1 minute. Do not cover the rain sensor; switch off during automatic car wash. In winter, ensure windscreen is clear of ice before activating.

Single Wipe

Pull the stalk briefly towards you.

Unusual Operation

If the wipers operate in intermittent mode while in AUTO, have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or qualified workshop.

Windscreen Wash

Pull the wiper stalk towards you. The windscreen wash, then the wipers, operate for a pre-determined time.

Advice / Screenwash Reservoir
  • Top-up the level when necessary
  • Open the bonnet and secure it with the stay
  • Identify the reservoir filler cap
  • Open the blue filler cap and pour in screenwash fluid
