Peugeot 208 2016-2022 PEUGEOT i-Cockpit
PEUGEOT i-Cockpit
To make the most of the special ergonomics of the Peugeot i-Cockpit,
adjust the following in this order:
- Height of the head restraint
- Seat backrest angle
- Seat cushion height
- Longitudinal position of the seat
- Reach and then height of the steering wheel
- Interior and door mirrors
Once these adjustments have been made, ensure that from your driving position
you can clearly see the "head-up" instrument panel over the reduced
diameter steering wheel.
Adjusting the steering wheel
Adjust the steering wheel so that it is comfortable to hold and allows clear
visibility of the instrument panel.
Front seats
Standard adjustments
Forwards / Backwards
Raise the control and slide the seat forwards or backwards
to the desired position.
Height
Pull the control upwards to raise the seat or push it downwards
to lower it. Repeat as many times as required to obtain the
correct position.
Backrest
Push the control rearwards to adjust the angle of the seat backrest.
Head restraints
The head restraint has a frame with notches which prevent it from lowering.
This is a safety device in case of impact.
The adjustment is correct when the upper edge of the head restraint
is level with the top of the head.
Never drive with the head restraints removed; they must be in place
and adjusted correctly.

Remove: Press the lug A and pull the head restraint upwards.
