Press near the rear edge of the door to open it.

Grab the handle and lift up to access the storage compartment.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE ENGINE – PRECAUTIONS

WARNING: Extended high-speed idling can cause excessive heat and fire risk.
WARNING: Do not park or idle on dry ground cover. Heat from the exhaust may cause fire.
WARNING: Never start the engine in enclosed spaces. Exhaust fumes are toxic.
WARNING: Do not use starting fluids. Explosion risk may occur.
WARNING: Exhaust leaks can allow toxic fumes inside the vehicle.

If idling for extended periods, open windows slightly or switch climate control to outside air.

PUSH BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH

Switching the Ignition Off

Press the ignition button once without pressing the brake pedal.

Accessory Mode

Press the ignition button once while the vehicle is off to activate electrical systems. Battery saver may shut systems off after inactivity.

STARTING THE ENGINE

Gasoline Engine Start
  1. Ensure accessories are off and transmission is in park.
  2. Press and hold the brake pedal.
  3. Press the ignition button.
Restarting After Shutdown

You may restart within 10 seconds without a detected key by pressing brake and ignition.

ENGINE BLOCK HEATER (IF EQUIPPED)

WARNING: Improper use may cause electrical shock, fire, or damage.
  • Use certified outdoor extension cords.
  • Keep connections dry.
  • Inspect wiring regularly.
  • Unplug before driving.
How It Works

The heater warms engine coolant for improved cold starts and faster climate response. Best used below −18°C (0°F).
