Lincoln Navigator

Detection Issues Can Occur

  • When driving on a different line than the vehicle in front.
  • With vehicles edging into your lane — detection occurs only after they fully enter.
  • When entering or exiting bends or curves in the road.

In these cases, the system may brake late or unexpectedly. Damage to the front of the vehicle can affect radar detection and cause missed or false readings.

Optimal performance requires:

  • Unblocked windshield camera
  • Good visibility and lighting
  • Favorable weather conditions
