Adaptive Front Lighting

A: Without adaptive front lighting.
B: With adaptive front lighting.

Situational Supplemental Lighting

Adaptive front lighting provides supplemental light depending on vehicle speed, steering input, and camera detection of stop or yield signs.

Switching Adaptive Front Lighting On and Off

Set the lighting control to the autolamps position to use adaptive front lighting.

Note: Other lighting control positions do not activate adaptive front lighting.

Interior Lamps

Switching All Interior Lamps On and Off

The lamps turn on under these conditions:

  • Opening any door.
  • Pressing a button on the remote control.
  • Pressing the "all lamps on" button on the overhead console.

Press to switch all interior lamps on or off.

Front Interior Lamps

Front interior lamp switches are on the overhead console. Button positions depend on the vehicle model.

Individual Map Lamps

Press to switch the left-hand or right-hand individual dome lamp on or off.

Rear Interior Lamps

Rear interior lamps may be above the rear seat or windows.

Press to switch the lamps on or off.

Note: If you switch the rear lamps on through the overhead console, you cannot switch them off with the rear lamp switch.

Interior Lamp Function

The interior lamp function switches the courtesy and door lamps on or off.

Press to switch the interior lamp function on or off.

Note: The indicator lamp illuminates amber when the door function is off.

Adjusting Instrument Panel Lighting Brightness

Use the instrument lighting dimmer buttons on the lighting control. Repeatedly press a button to adjust brightness.

Ambient Lighting

  1. Settings → Vehicle Settings → Ambient Light
  2. Press a color.

Drag the selected color up or down to adjust brightness.

Interior Lighting – FAQ

Q: Why do courtesy or interior lamps turn off after switching vehicle off?

A: Battery saver automatically turns off lamps shortly after switching off the vehicle.

Power Windows

Warning: Do not leave children or pets unattended and do not allow them to play with power windows.
Warning: When closing power windows, ensure no obstructions or people are nearby.
Warning: If an obstruction is detected, release the switch and reverse the window immediately.
Warning: Do not leave keys or remotes unattended in the vehicle.

Use the window control switch to open or close windows. The power windows operate with ignition on and for a few minutes after turning it off or until a front door opens.

One-Touch Open/Close

Fully press or lift the switch and release to activate. Press again to stop movement.

Resetting One-Touch Close

  1. Close the window.
  2. Press and hold the switch until window fully opens. Hold for a few seconds.
  3. Lift and hold the switch until window fully closes. Hold for a few seconds.
  4. Repeat steps 2–3 once more within 30 seconds.
