Luggage Net Attachment

  1. Attach the loop end of the net to the upper hook. Use one prong on the hook for the net attachment.
  2. Attach the bottom of the net to the lower anchor point.
  3. Repeat this procedure on the other side of your vehicle.

Adjusting the Luggage Compartment Load Floor

Short Wheelbase Load Floor

Lift up on the handle to open the cover. The board operates with friction hinges, allowing any position between 0° and 90°. To close, lower the cover.

Long Wheelbase Load Floor

The bi-folding load floor provides access to two separate storage compartments. Lift up on the handle and fold it back to open the cover. To access the second compartment, fold the cover back a second time. To close, lower the cover.

Adjusting the Luggage Compartment Divider

Advanced Luggage Compartment Divider (If Equipped)
  • Do not load objects on the shelf that obstruct vision or may strike occupants in a sudden stop or collision.
  • Do not place people or pets on or under the parcel shelf.
Forward Divider

Lift up the handle and position the board vertically at 90°. Friction hinges allow positions between 0° and 90°.

Cargo Shelf

Lift the board to horizontal, insert forward-facing nubs into hooks. For short or long wheelbase, raise the second panel toward the front when seats are folded. Do not exceed 50 lb (22 kg) on the shelf.

Rear Barrier (Bulkhead Position)

Lift the board vertically and insert rearward-facing nubs into hooks. Hooks may need to be flipped down before positioning.

Connecting a Trailer Precautions

  • Do not tow until vehicle has at least 1,000 mi (1,600 km).
  • Follow local motor vehicle laws for towing.
  • Use proper trailer wiring connectors compatible with vehicle and trailer.
  • Account for trailer coupler weight in total vehicle load.
  • Do not exceed load limits.

Hitches

Installing a Hitch

Do not cut, drill, weld, or modify the trailer hitch. Only use hitches designed for your vehicle. Maintain 10–15% tongue load; do not exceed hitch rating.

Trailer Hitch Cover

Remove by unsnapping bottom then rotating top off the bumper. Install by aligning snaps to holes and pushing until secured.

Hooking Up a Trailer Using a Weight-Distributing Hitch

Do not adjust spring bars to raise rear bumper; doing so defeats the hitch function and may cause injury. A weight-distributing hitch distributes tongue load to all vehicle and trailer wheels.
