Adjusting the Steering Wheel

Warning: Do not adjust the steering wheel when your vehicle is moving.
Note: Make sure you are sitting in the correct position.

Use the steering column control:

  • Press top or bottom to move the wheel up or down.
  • Press front or rear to move the wheel in or out.
  • Memory settings allow saving and recalling positions.

Resetting the Stopping Position

  1. Ensure nothing blocks the steering column.
  2. Press and hold the control until movement stops.
  3. Press the control again.
  4. Continue holding for several seconds.
  5. Repeat in each direction if necessary.

Horn

Press the center of the steering wheel to activate the horn.

Heated Steering Wheel

Press the climate control button to activate heating. An indicator lights when active.

Note: A temperature sensor regulates heat automatically.

Adjusting the Pedals

Warning: Do not adjust pedals while driving.
  • Move pedals farther away.
  • Move pedals closer.
  • Positions can be saved with memory settings.

Wipers

Precautions

  • Do not operate on dry glass.
  • Defrost windshield before use.
  • Turn off before car wash.

Windshield Wiper Modes

  • Single wipe
  • Intermittent wipe
  • Normal wipe
  • High-speed wipe

Autowipers (If Equipped)

Automatically controls wipe speed based on rain detection.

  1. Settings → Vehicle → Wipers
  2. Switch Rain Sensing on/off

Rain Sensor Sensitivity

  • High sensitivity: reacts to light rain
  • Low sensitivity: reacts to heavier rain

Rear Wiper

  • Off
  • Intermittent
  • Continuous

Reverse Wipe

Activates rear wiper when reversing if front wipers are active.

Replacing Wiper Blades

  1. Lift wiper arm.
  2. Remove blade.
  3. Install new blade securely.

Washers

Warning: Use antifreeze washer fluid in cold temperatures.
  • Do not run washer dry.
  • Keep windshield clean for sensor accuracy.

Using Washers

  • Pull lever for windshield washer.
  • Push lever for rear washer.

Courtesy Wipe Settings

  1. Settings → Vehicle → Wipers
  2. Switch Courtesy Wipe on/off

Exterior Lighting Control

  • Headlamps on
  • Autolamps
  • Parking lamps
  • Lamps off

Headlamps

High Beams

  • Push lever forward to activate.
  • Pull back to deactivate.
  • Tap to flash.

Exit Delay

Pull turn signal lever after shutdown to enable delayed headlamp shutoff.

Autolamps

Warning: Always monitor visibility — override system if needed.

Automatically activates headlamps in low light or rain.

Exterior Lamps

Turn Signals

  • Move lever up/down.
  • Tap for three flashes.

Daytime Running Lamps

Settings available depending on vehicle configuration.

Warning: DRLs do not activate rear lamps — use headlights in low visibility.

Front Fog Lamps

  • Activate when headlamps or parking lamps are on.
  • Use only in reduced visibility.

Welcome Lighting

Exterior lights activate when approaching or unlocking vehicle.

Automatic High Beam Control (If Equipped)

Warning: Driver remains responsible for safe operation.

Automatically switches high beams based on traffic and lighting.

Requirements

  • Autolamps active
  • Low ambient light
  • No detected traffic
  • Vehicle above minimum speed

Override

Use steering lever to manually control beams.

Glare-Free Lighting (If Equipped)

Enhances visibility while minimizing glare for others.

Activation

  1. Settings → Vehicle → Lighting
  2. Switch feature on/off

Adaptive Front Lighting

Adjusts beam direction during curves for improved visibility.
