Malfunction

In case of an electrical malfunction, adjust the mirror by pressing the edges of the mirror glass.

Folding In and Out
NOTE: Depending on the vehicle width, the vehicle can be damaged in vehicle washes. Fold in mirrors by hand or with the button before washing.

Press button to fold mirrors. Folding only possible up to 15 mph / 20 km/h. Mirrors folded in are folded out automatically at approx. 25 mph / 40 km/h.

  • Useful in vehicle washes.
  • Useful on narrow roads.
Automatic Heating

Both exterior mirrors are automatically heated whenever the ignition is switched on.

Automatic Dimming Feature

The driver's side exterior mirror automatically dims using photocells in the interior mirror.

Automatic Curb Monitor (Exterior Mirror)

If reverse gear is engaged, the front passenger side mirror tilts downward to improve curb and obstacle visibility.

  1. Activate: Slide switch to driver's mirror position and engage reverse (R).
  2. Deactivate: Slide switch to passenger mirror position.
Interior Mirror

Manually dimmable: Flip lever forward or turn knob to reduce glare.

Automatic dimming: Photocells control mirror dimming. Keep photocells clean and uncovered.

Steering Wheel

WARNING: Adjusting the steering wheel while driving can cause unexpected movements and loss of vehicle control. Adjust only when stationary.
  1. Fold lever down.
  2. Move steering wheel to desired height and angle.
  3. Fold lever back up.

Transporting Children Safely

The Right Place for Children
WARNING: Unattended children or animals can operate the vehicle, causing accidents. Do not leave unattended. Take the remote control and lock the vehicle.
Always Transport Children in the Rear Seat

Safest place is rear seat. Children under 13 or shorter than 5 ft / 150 cm must use suitable child restraints. Children 13+ must wear safety belts when restraints are not suitable.

WARNING: Safety belts cannot be fastened correctly on children under 5 ft / 150 cm without additional restraints. Improper use can cause injury.
Children on Front Passenger Seat

Deactivate front airbags before using child restraint systems. See page 117 for automatic deactivation info.

WARNING: Active front airbags can injure a child in a restraint system. Ensure airbags are deactivated and indicator light is on.
WARNING: Stability of the child restraint system may be compromised with incorrect seat adjustment or improper installation. Ensure secure fit and adjust backrest/headrest as needed.
Installing Child Restraint Systems

Follow manufacturer instructions for selection, installation, and use. Move front passenger seat forward before folding backrest for back-facing restraints.

WARNING: Damaged or accident-exposed child restraint systems may fail. Have inspected or replaced by dealer/service center.
WARNING: Improper installation or seat adjustment compromises stability. Ensure secure fit against backrest and adjust headrests as needed.
Rear Seats

Move front passenger seat forward before folding backrest for back-facing child restraint installation.

WARNING: Active front airbags can injure children. Ensure deactivation.
