WINDOW OPERATION
They work with the ignition device in the ON position and for about 3 minutes after the ignition device has been turned to STOP. Opening a front door disables this operation.
Driver Side Front Door Controls
The buttons are located on the driver door panel. All windows can be controlled from here (fig. 68):
- 1: Front left window – continuous automatic with anti-pinch
- 2: Front right window – continuous automatic with anti-pinch
- 3: Rear right window – continuous automatic with anti-pinch
- 4: Enable/disable rear door window controls
- 5: Rear left window – continuous automatic with anti-pinch
Window Opening & Closing
- Opening: Press button. First step = manual in steps, second step = continuous automatic. Press again to stop.
- Closing: Lift button. Same logic applies for both front and rear windows.
Passenger Side/Rear Door Controls
Buttons are provided for associated windows.
Window Anti-Pinch Safety Device
Stops and reverses window movement if an obstacle is detected. Activated during manual and automatic operations. Reverses window about 20 cm. Window cannot be operated during this time.
Warning: If the anti-pinch activates 3 times in 1 minute or malfunctions, automatic closing is inhibited; manual step-by-step operation only. To restore, lower the window fully.
Electric Window System Initialization
If power is interrupted, the automatic operation must be re-initialized with doors closed by manually closing the window fully.
Warning: Improper use can cause injury. Always ensure no one is exposed to moving windows or objects.
ELECTRIC SUNROOF (where provided)
The sunroof has two glass panels (front movable, rear fixed), an electric front sun blind, and manual rear sun blind. Operation only with ignition at AVV. Preset positions: fully closed, comfort (intermediate), fully open.
Warning: Do not close blind when roof is open.
Opening
Press button (1) fig. 69:
- First press: comfort position
- Second press: fully open
- Long press: opens roof continuously until released or reaches comfort
- Automatic motion can be interrupted at any position by pressing button (1) again
Closing
Press button (1) from fully open. Long press closes until released. Can interrupt by pressing again.
Swivel Opening
Press button (2) fig. 69 to move roof into swivel position. Works irrespective of current roof position. Press again to stop movement.
Front Sun Blind Electric Movement
- Press button (3) to open or close blind.
- Automatic motion can be interrupted by pressing button (3) again.
- If roof is open, blind closing control also closes the roof.
Anti-Pinch Device
Stops and reverses sunroof movement if obstacle detected.
Initialization Procedure
Required for faulty sunroof operation:
- Set ignition to AVV and start engine
- Press button (1) to fully close roof
- Open driver door and set ignition to STOP
- Within 5 sec, set ignition to AVV and start engine
- Within 10 sec, hold button (1) until motors stop in sequence
- Release and press button (1) again until cycle completes (roof and blind open/close)
Warning: Anti-pinch is deactivated during initialization.
Warning: Take the key when leaving car to prevent accidental sunroof operation. Improper use can cause injury.
Important: Do not open sunroof with roof rack or snow/ice present.
BONNET
Opening
- Pull release lever inside passenger compartment (fig. 70/71)
- From outside, slightly lift bonnet and operate side release (fig. 72)
- Raise bonnet completely – gas shock absorber holds it open
Do not tamper with shock absorber. Always accompany bonnet while lifting.
Closing
- Lower bonnet ~40 cm from engine compartment and let it drop
- Ensure completely closed, not only by locking device
- If not fully closed, reopen and repeat procedure
Quadrifoglio Version: Slight pressure after 40 cm is enough. Always ensure proper closure on both sides.
Warning: Only perform when car is stationary. Use both hands. Check windscreen wipers and parking brake.
LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
Electrically operated unlocking deactivated when car is in motion. Warning triangle (1) fig. 77 stored inside lid lining.
Opening
From outside, press electric opening button (fig. 75) until unlocking click is heard.
