Fuses protect the electrical system: they intervene (blow) in the event of a failure or improper action on the system. When a device does not work, check the condition of its protection fuse: the filament must be intact. If it is not, replace the blown fuse with another with the same amperage (same colour).

To replace a fuse, use the tongs housed in the luggage compartment fusebox cover (fig. 254).
Grab the pliers from the upper tabs, press them and extract the pliers pulling upwards.
The pliers (fig. 255) have two different ends, specifically designed to remove the different types of fuse present in the car:
The fuses, which can be replaced by the user, are grouped in two boxes below the passenger side foot board and inside the luggage compartment.
To access the fuses, proceed as follows:
The fuses are freely accessible in the fusebox. The number identifying the electrical component corresponding to each fuse is shown on the fusebox cover. After replacing the fuse, make sure that panel (2) and footboard (1) are correctly locked.
