INTERIOR LIGHTS
Front Courtesy Light
- Switch (1): Turns light (8) on/off.
- Switch (2): Activates/deactivates the rear ceiling buttons.
- Switch (3): Turns all interior courtesy lights (front and rear) on/off.
- Switch (4): Activates/deactivates automatic courtesy light operation when doors are opened/closed (gradual on/off).
- Switch (5): Turns light (6) on/off.
Warning: Before getting out of the car, make sure that the courtesy light bulbs are off. If a light is left on, it will switch off automatically about 15 minutes after the engine is switched off.
Courtesy Light Timing
While getting into the car:
- Lights switch on for a few seconds when doors are unlocked.
- Lights stay on for about 3 minutes when a door is opened.
- Lights switch on for a few seconds when doors are locked.
Timing is interrupted when the ignition device is turned to ON.
While getting out of the car:
- Lights switch on for a few seconds after the engine stops.
- Lights stay on for about 3 minutes when a door is opened.
- Lights switch on for a few seconds when a door is closed.
Timing stops automatically when the doors are locked.
Courtesy Lights (Sun Visor)
Behind the driver and passenger sun visor (where provided), a courtesy light illuminates the mirror. It switches on automatically when the cover is lifted.
Glove Compartment Light
This light switches on automatically when the glove compartment is opened and switches off when it is closed, regardless of ignition status.
Interior Ambient Lighting
The brightness of the interior ambient lighting can be adjusted through the Connect system:
- Menu → Settings → Lights → Interior Ambient Lighting
- Brightness adjustable in seven levels.
Door Light
The door light comes on automatically when the door is opened and switches off when it is closed, regardless of ignition status.
On vehicles with Passive Entry, an additional light is located under each external door handle.
Rear Courtesy Light
The rear courtesy lights are activated or deactivated using button (2) on the front courtesy lights.
- Switch (3): Turns light (2) on/off.
- Switch (4): Turns light (1) on/off.
Warning: The light switches off automatically after a few minutes if a door is left open.
Luggage Compartment Courtesy Lights
The luggage compartment has two courtesy lights that switch on automatically when opened and switch off when closed. If left open, the lights switch off after 15 minutes to preserve the battery.
Instrument Panel and Control Button Brightness
With side lights or headlights on, rotate the ring upwards to increase brightness or downwards to decrease it. Brightness can be set to seven levels.
WINDSCREEN WIPER
The right stalk controls windscreen wiper and washer operation and works only with the ignition device at ON.
Windscreen Wiper / Washer Operation
- Off
- Rain sensor – sensitivity level 1
- Rain sensor – sensitivity level 2
- Manual continuous speed – level 1
- Manual continuous speed – level 2
MIST Function: Move the stalk upwards briefly for single wipe operation.
Warning: The MIST function does not activate the windscreen washer.
Smart Washing Function
Pull the stalk towards the steering wheel to activate washer and wipers together. Wipers stop automatically after the cycle.
Rain Sensor
The rain sensor detects rain intensity and adjusts wiper speed automatically.
Activation
- Turn the ring to position or to activate.
- Activation is confirmed by a single wiper stroke.
Warning: Keep the sensor area clean. Automatic wiping is disabled when outside temperature is below 0°C.
Deactivation
Turn the ring to Off or switch the ignition device to STOP.
The rain sensor can adapt automatically to dirt, worn wiper blades, and changes between day and night.
