The security indicator will flash slowly until the vehicle is disarmed.
If the alarm is triggered and no action is taken to disarm it, the beeper will stop after 29 seconds and the visual signals will stop after an additional 31 seconds. The system will then automatically rearm itself.
Follow these steps to arm the vehicle security alarm:
Open windows will remain open. If the power liftgate is open, it must be closed before the alarm can be armed.
Buttons located on the trunk lining can fully close and lock the liftgate while arming the alarm, provided all doors are closed.
Each time the system is armed, anti-intrusion and anti-lift sensors activate. These sensors can be disabled by pressing the key fob button three times within five seconds while the indicator flashes rapidly.
Use one of the following methods:
Remaining inside the vehicle during arming and opening a door will activate the alarm. If the battery is disconnected while armed, the system will reactivate when power returns.
Press and hold the panic button for at least one second. Headlights illuminate, lights flash, the horn pulses, and interior lights turn on.

If the alarm was triggered while you were away, the horn will sound three times upon disarming. Inspect the vehicle for tampering.
When unlocking via key fob or Passive Entry, courtesy lighting, dimmable interior lights, seat lighting, and approach lighting remain on for approximately 27 seconds.
