Cargo Net (Continued)
- Secure all movable objects to the trunk floor before travel.
- Do not stack heavy items on top when using the cargo net.
- The cargo net is stored under the trunk floor inside a dedicated bag.
Installing the Cargo Net
- Unzip the bag and unfold the net until joints click into place.
- Insert the upper ends into the roof bracket slots and pull down to secure.
- Attach lower hooks to trunk floor retainers and tension the straps.
- Velcro attachments secure the lower section.
Forward Position Installation
- Attach the upper net ends near the rear passenger handholds.
- Secure lower tethers to child-seat anchor points.
- Fasten Velcro attachments as required.
When not needed, remove the net, fold it, place it back in its bag, and store it under the trunk floor.
Front-to-Back Roof Rails (Optional)
Roof rails are designed to carry external luggage and equipment.
- Maximum load: 80 kg (176 lb), evenly distributed.
- Ensure load does not interfere with liftgate or sunroof operation.
- Follow manufacturer instructions when installing carriers.
WARNING:
- Periodically check that roof cargo is properly secured.
- Drive cautiously and reduce speed when carrying roof loads.
- Secure long objects that extend beyond the windshield on both sides.
Power Sunroof with Sunshade (Optional)
The power sunroof includes two glass panels, with the front panel movable and the rear fixed.
- Right switch controls sunroof movement.
- Left switch controls the sunshade.
- Rear button activates venting.
WARNING:
- Ensure passengers and objects are clear during operation.
- Never leave children unattended with the key fob.
- Seat belts must be worn when sunroof is open.
- Do not allow children to operate the sunroof.
CAUTION:
- Close the sunroof during rain.
- Do not operate if ice is present.
- Avoid opening when roof cargo interferes.
Sunroof Operation
- Press backward to fully open.
- Press forward to close.
- Press the rear button for vent position.
- Movement can be interrupted at any time.
Sunshade
- Press backward to open.
- Press forward to close.
- Movement can be stopped at any position.
Pinch Protection
If an obstruction is detected during closing, the sunroof automatically retracts. Remove the obstruction and retry.
Initialization
- Close the sunroof completely.
- Switch ignition OFF for 10 seconds.
- Hold the close switch until the motor stops.
- Repeat to complete the automatic cycle.
Wind Buffeting
Wind buffeting may occur with windows or sunroof open. Adjust window positions or sunroof opening to minimize the effect.
Ignition-Off Operation
Sunroof controls remain active for approximately 10 minutes after ignition OFF unless a front door is opened.
Maintenance
Clean glass using a soft cloth and non-abrasive cleaner.
HomeLink® (Optional)
HomeLink® replaces up to three remote transmitters for garage doors, gates, lighting, and security systems.
WARNING:
- Do not program while people or pets are in the path of doors or gates.
- Never run the vehicle inside a garage while programming.
Programming Preparation
- Park outside the garage.
- Install a fresh transmitter battery.
- Erase factory codes by holding the outer buttons until indicator flashes.
Rolling Code Devices
- Press HomeLink® and handheld transmitter simultaneously.
- Wait for the indicator to flash rapidly.
- Press the LEARN/TRAIN button on the opener motor.
- Return to vehicle and press the programmed button.
Non-Rolling Code Devices
- Hold both transmitter and HomeLink® buttons until the indicator flashes quickly.
- Press the programmed button to test operation.
Using HomeLink®
Press the programmed button to activate the paired device.
Security
Erase all HomeLink® channels before selling the vehicle.
Troubleshooting
- Replace transmitter batteries.
- Press the LEARN button on rolling code openers.
- Ensure devices are powered during programming.
