Spray Nozzles

If the jet does not work, first check that there is fluid in the tank (see paragraph “Level checks”) and ensure the nozzles are not clogged.

Windshield Wiper Blades Replacement

  • Move the wiper arms into “Service” position and lift them.
  • Press the indicated button, slip off the blade support from the arm, and replace it.
  • Return the blade to its original position on the windshield.
  • Turn the multifunction lever to an automatic setting and move ignition to RUN: the wiper arms will return to resting position.

NOTE: Due to the difficulty, we recommend contacting an Authorized Maserati Dealer for blade replacement.

Rear Window Blade Replacement

  • Lift the rear wiper arm with blade to the stop position.
  • Turn the blade to the indicated position.
  • Hold the arm steady and pull the blade from the central support until removed.
  • Replace the blade and insert the pivot into the fork-shaped end until it clicks.
  • Stretch the arm and put the blade back in contact with the liftgate window.

Maintenance-Free Battery

This vehicle is equipped with a sealed maintenance-free battery. No water addition or periodic maintenance is required.

WARNING: Battery fluid is corrosive. Battery gas is flammable. Battery posts contain lead. Follow all safety precautions.

NOTE: Remote battery terminals for jump-starting are in the engine compartment.

To Disconnect the Battery

The battery is on the inner right side of the trunk. Lift trunk floor and remove storage box to access it.

WARNING: California Proposition 65: Exposure to engine exhaust, carbon monoxide, phthalates, and lead may cause cancer or reproductive harm. See www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/passengervehicle
  • Open the trunk and lower windows slightly to avoid seal damage.
  • Never disconnect the battery with engine running.
  • Remove negative terminal first for temporary disconnection.
  • For battery removal, detach negative (-) then positive (+) terminal after removing protective cover.

To Reconnect the Battery

  • Attach positive cable to positive post (+) and negative cable to negative post (–).
  • Unlock/lock doors using Key fob.
  • Initialize climate control system and set MTC+ date and time.
  • Check approach lights and rear sunshades if equipped.
  • Wait 30 seconds with ignition in RUN before starting engine for electronic system self-learning.

Useful Advice to Extend Battery Life

  • Ensure all doors, hood, liftgate, and flaps are closed. Interior lights off.
  • Do not leave connected devices on when engine is off.
  • Check battery charge regularly, especially during cold seasons or if vehicle is mainly used for short trips.

Battery Recharge

WARNING: Charging produces hydrogen, a flammable gas. Use constant voltage (<14V) and low amperage (<15A) charger in well-ventilated area. Do not charge frozen battery.
  • Lift trunk floor and remove storage box to access battery.
  • Remove protection cover, connect charger positive to battery positive (+), negative to battery negative (-) via IBS sensor.
  • Turn charger on and follow instructions. Disconnect charger in reverse order when done.
