Vehicle Identification Number

The vehicle identification number (VIN) is punched on the foot platform in front of the right passenger rear seat. To read the number, lift the mat and rotate the guard. The VIN is also visible from outside the vehicle through the windshield on the front left corner of the dashboard.

NOTE: When ordering spare parts or making inquiries, always quote the vehicle identification number.

Warning and Identification Labels

Overview Label with Cautions and Warning Notes

A centrally attached label placed inside the engine hood cover displays cautions, warnings, and symbols. Refer to the “Symbols” section for additional information.

Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Label

This label is applied on the lower right side of the hood.

California Proposition 65 Warning Label

This label is applied on the upper left corner of the windshield.

Passenger Airbag Labels

These labels are applied on the external side of the sun visors and behind them on the dome. Another label on the dashboard indicates that the airbag system is installed.

Danger — Restart Engine with Hood Open Label

This label is applied on the upper right side of the hood.

Loading Information Label

This label is applied on the driver’s side rear door pillar.

Tire Information Label

This paper label is applied on the driver’s side rear door pillar.

This label is applied on the lower left side of the hood.

Fuel Warning Label

This label is applied inside the fuel filler door.
