Cruise Control Controls
The electronic Cruise Control controls are located on the left side of the steering wheel. The control configuration depends on the driver assist systems installed on the vehicle.
Standard Configuration
- ON/OFF Button: Engages or disengages the Cruise Control system.
Optional Configuration
- Press and hold the ACC Gap button for 2 seconds to enable Cruise Control.
- Press the ACC button to disable Cruise Control.
Shared Controls
- RES +: Increase speed, set current speed, or resume previous speed.
- CANC: Cancel the set speed.
- SET -: Set or decrease speed.
Cruise Control may shut down if multiple driver assist systems operate simultaneously.
Displayed Information
Cruise Control status is shown on the instrument cluster within the Driver Assist menu. Icons indicate whether the system is ready, disabled, cancelled, or set.
Activation
- Press the ON/OFF button (or ACC Gap button for optional configuration) to activate the system.
- Press again to deactivate.
Never leave Cruise Control active when not in use.

Setting Desired Speed
Once the desired speed is reached, press the multifunction switch downward (SET -). The vehicle will maintain the selected speed after releasing the accelerator.
Changing Speed Setting
- Press RES + to increase speed.
- Press SET - to decrease speed.
- Tap once for 1 mph (1 km/h) adjustment.
- Hold for 5 mph (5 km/h) increments.
Temporary Deactivation
- Brake pedal tap
- Pressing CANC
- Normal braking
Driver Override
Pressing the accelerator temporarily overrides Cruise Control. Releasing the pedal returns the vehicle to the set speed.
Resume Speed
Press RES + to return to the previously set speed above 18 mph (30 km/h).
Cruise Control on Hills
The transmission may downshift on hills to maintain speed. Avoid using Cruise Control on steep slopes.
Do not use Cruise Control in heavy traffic or slippery road conditions.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Adaptive Cruise Control improves driving comfort by maintaining a safe distance from vehicles ahead using radar and camera sensors.
- Maintains set speed when no vehicle is detected.
- Automatically adjusts speed when a vehicle is detected ahead.
ACC is not a safety system and does not replace driver attention.
ACC Activation Conditions
- Vehicle in Drive
- Driver seatbelt fastened
- Vehicle speed within preset range
- No brake or parking brake applied
Setting ACC Speed
Press SET - when reaching the desired speed. The vehicle will maintain speed and following distance.
Changing ACC Speed
- Tap controls for 1 unit change.
- Hold controls for larger increments.
ACC Gap Setting
- 4 bars – Maximum distance
- 3 bars – Default distance
- 2 bars – Medium distance
- 1 bar – Short distance
Overtake Aid
ACC provides additional acceleration during overtaking when the turn signal is activated.
Stop and Resume Operation
After stopping behind another vehicle, the system requires manual re-engagement using the accelerator or controls.
System Warnings and Maintenance
- Keep radar sensor clean
- Avoid installing accessories near the sensor
- Seek service if the sensor is damaged
Poor weather or sensor obstruction may temporarily disable ACC and FCW systems.
