Rear Seat Safety and Comfort
WARNING:
- An unlocked seatback cannot ensure passenger or child seat stability and may cause severe injuries in an accident.
- When fastening a child seat on rear seats, ensure the seatback is fully upright.
NOTE: Rear seat backrests can be fully folded to increase luggage space.
Rear Head Restraints
Rear head restraints are height adjustable.
- Pull upward to raise the head restraint.
- Press the release button and push downward to lower it.
NOTE: Lower head restraints when seats are unoccupied to improve rear visibility.
Rear Armrest
- Pull the strap to lower the armrest.
- Lift and push upward to close it.
The armrest includes two cupholders and an opening for transporting long objects.
CAUTION: The armrest is not designed to support body weight. Use it only for beverages or small objects.
Rear Heated Seats (Optional)
Rear side seats may include heating elements controlled from switches on each rear door panel.
WARNING:
- Use caution if you have reduced skin sensitivity.
- Do not place insulating objects on heated seats.
- Press once for HI heating (two LEDs).
- Press again for LO heating (one LED).
- Press a third time to turn heating off.
NOTE: Heat is felt within 2–5 minutes and the engine must be running.
Steering Wheel Adjustment
Power Adjustment
The tilt/telescopic steering switch is located on the lower left of the steering column.
- Move switch up/down to adjust tilt.
- Pull/push switch to extend or retract steering wheel.
WARNING: Never adjust the steering wheel while driving.
Heated Steering Wheel (Optional)
The heated steering wheel warms the rim and automatically shuts off after approximately 58–70 minutes.
- Open Climate screen on the MTC+ display.
- Touch the heated steering wheel soft-key to turn on/off.
WARNING:
- Use caution if you have reduced skin sensitivity.
- Avoid steering wheel covers that insulate heat.
Adjustable Pedals (If Equipped)
The adjustable pedals allow the brake and accelerator to move closer or further from the driver.
- Press switch downward to move pedals forward.
- Lift switch upward to move pedals rearward.
WARNING: Do not adjust pedals while driving.
CAUTION: Do not obstruct pedal movement.
Rearview Mirrors
External Mirrors
External mirrors are electrically adjustable, heated, foldable, and include automatic anti-glare functionality.
Mirror Positioning
- Press L or R to select mirror.
- Use directional switch to adjust position.
WARNING: Objects in convex mirrors appear smaller and farther away than they actually are.
Tilt Mirrors in Reverse
Mirrors tilt downward automatically when reverse gear is engaged and return to their original position afterward.
Folding Mirrors
Press the folding mirror switch to fold/unfold mirrors. Automatic folding can be enabled through system settings.
CAUTION: Do not fold mirrors manually to avoid damage.
Internal Rearview Mirror
The internal mirror is manually adjustable and includes electrochromic anti-glare functionality.
CAUTION: Apply cleaning solution to a cloth, not directly to the mirror.
Lighting Controls
Light Switch
The headlight switch controls DRL, position lights, headlights, fog lights, and license plate lighting.
NOTE: A buzzer alerts the driver if lights remain on after the ignition is turned off.
Lighting Behavior
The lighting system automatically adjusts based on ignition position, engine status, and twilight sensor mode. DRL and position lights share the same LED with different intensity levels.
NOTE: Some lights remain powered for up to 30 minutes after shutdown to preserve battery charge.
