Glove Box Molding Reinstallation
- Reinstall the molding ensuring pins align with dashboard clips.
- Press from the center outward until all 10 pins engage and click into place.
After releasing the glove box using this procedure, do not lock it using the PIN code. Contact an authorized dealer to verify the unlock feature.
Analog Clock
The analog clock located between the dashboard air outlets can be adjusted using the infotainment system settings. The time can also be displayed on the main menu and instrument cluster display. Clock lighting follows instrument backlighting behavior.
Air Conditioning Controls
The vehicle features an automatic dual-zone air conditioning system allowing independent temperature adjustment for driver and passenger.
- Humidity sensor prevents windshield and side window fogging.
- Solar sensor improves comfort during sunlight exposure.
- Optional rear dual-zone system allows rear passengers to control temperature.
CAUTION: Keep the solar sensor area clean and avoid placing stickers on the windshield above it.
Dual Zone Climate Controls
The system can be operated via dashboard climate controls or infotainment soft-keys.
- Front seat and steering wheel comfort controls may be accessible from the climate screen.
- Temperature indicators remain visible even when other infotainment modes are selected.
Description of Controls
- Climate ON/OFF: Use climate screen soft-keys to switch the system on or off.
- A/C: Activates or deactivates air conditioning and switches AUTO to manual.
- Driver Temperature: Adjust using controls or touchscreen slider.
- Passenger Temperature: Independent temperature adjustment; changing exits SYNC mode.
- Recirculation: Activates air recirculation functions.
- Blower Control: Seven speed levels available via panel controls or touchscreen.
- AUTO: Automatically regulates airflow and temperature.
- FAST Defrost: Directs airflow to windshield for rapid defogging.
- Rear Defrost: Activates rear window and mirror defrost (auto shut-off after 10 minutes).
- Airflow Distribution: Select dashboard, bi-level, floor, or mix airflow modes.
- SYNC Mode: Synchronizes passenger temperature with driver setting.
- MAX A/C: Provides maximum cooling with recirculation and high blower speed.
CAUTION:
- Avoid abrasive cleaners on rear window defroster.
- Keep objects away from heating elements.
Airflow Distribution Modes
- Dashboard: Air from dashboard and rear console vents.
- Bi-Level: Air from dashboard and floor vents.
- Floor: Air directed to floor vents.
- Mix: Air from defrost and floor vents (recommended in cold climates).
Dual Zone Climate Control Functions
Air Conditioning
Cool dehumidified air flows when A/C is activated. Turning off improves fuel economy.
Recirculation & Air Quality Sensor
- First press activates air recirculation.
- Second press activates automatic recirculation via air quality sensor.
- Third press returns to outside air mode.
Automatic switching may occur to prevent windshield fogging.
MAX A/C
Automatically selects lowest temperature, highest blower speed and recirculation for rapid cooling.
Automatic Temperature Control (ATC)
Automatic Operation
- Press AUTO and set desired temperature.
- The system maintains comfort automatically.
- Blower remains low during cold engine startup.
Manual Operation
- Allows manual blower speed, airflow direction and recirculation control.
- Manual adjustments cancel AUTO mode.
Four-Zone Climate Controls (Optional)
Rear climate controls located at the rear of the central console allow independent rear passenger temperature adjustment.
